[He causes her to trip back and nearly lose her footing. She whines, taking a step back and yelping-] Oh come on! [And she puts the map right in front of his face. Between the two cardboard sides with one hand, while the other pokes him in the chest]

[Sokka snatches the map. Then looks down at her. And then panics and looks away again. Oh no, he saw her eyes. Is he in love with her?

He's not sure.]

What are you trying to do?

[She's only shouting a little as she shakes her head and waves a hand now that he's got it in hand. Good man. Finally. Ugh]

[He could not. But he held up the map, which he could not make heads or tails of with such a limited field of vision. So he held it back out at her.]

Thanks, but no thanks! I don't want to go to your party!

[godbent]

It's not a party, it's a map! A map! [And she tries to push his arm back towards his chest]

I don't care if it's important!

[She shoves his arm back at her to give it back. All without looking at her.]

Come on, you moron, just keep the map!

[Shove. so much shoving. He's stronger though so this is a bit vain]

[He finally has to look down at her again to really drive home the point. And then. He stops.

[godbent]

It's for you, moron! [Seriously, what's your problem, you bum! She puts her hands on her hips, sort of pout-glaring at him]

[Well. He takes it, finally. And looks touched. More than he normally would.]

Yes...? [She doesn't should the next part, so she doubts she can hear him through all that. Or, she should if she was thinking. As is, she's distracted by that tone]

[As if in a daze, Sokka pulls off the helmet and sets it aside. He holds the map as if it's the most precious thing in the world.]

[...What in the hell. Sokka doesn't have any negative traits for her unless he happens to be in a sweater vest, but he also doesn't have any positive ones. End result: this is actually sort of creepy]

Chocolate? You got chocolate for me? [He sighs happily.] I didn't realize you felt that way.

Felt like-?! [And she takes a half-step back, alarmed. Distinctly alarmed, actually. also blushing some because she didn't see that] It's obligation chocolate, Obligation!

[markofthewise]

[Ah. Blushing. A good sign!]

What we have? [And, while she's still red in the fair, her eyes do narrow some, and she tries to rally]
