[Logan looked down at his glass, then blearily at a clock hanging on the wall.]

What time is it? [It looks like... eight-ish. Maybe.]

[widows_kiss]

It's eleven. I'll take that to mean quite a bit. [Her voice is a little wry but there's a hint of concern in her gaze too.]

Had enough?

[snikting]

I ain't pissed myself yet. Should be fine.

[He raises a bottle and then starts emptying it down his throat.]

[widows_kiss]

[She gives a quiet snort of amusement at that.]

Can we maybe skip that part of the entertainment tonight? It'll save you from having to do laundry tomorrow when you're hungover.

[snikting]

[... aha. He grins. A rare sight, really.]

You got another idea for entertainment?

[widows_kiss]

[She returns it after a moment, lips curving slowly into an amused grin as she regards him, her head tilted slightly to the side.]

I usually do. Although the last time we tried out entertainment together, there were lasers and metal tentacles with saw blades.

[snikting]

Nah. I'm sick of pretendin' to be in fights. I want somethin' a bit more real. You and me? We can do real stuff. No fake Mally pretend.

[widows_kiss]

[His phrasing has her eyeing him with a mix of bemusement and curiosity. Because he was drunk and considering who she was talking about they could still be talking about fighting or something else entirely. Either of which she might be open to considering, she finds to her surprise. She leans back in the stool, comfortable and relaxed, and eyes him.]

'Real stuff', is it? And what is it you're wanting, Logan? Just so I make sure we're on the same page here.

[snikting]

You. Me. We find somewhere private. Let off some steam the old fashioned way.

[He wasn't interested in fighting her. She was an ally. He'd be holding back, so it would be as frustrating as the Dome, only in a different way. But there were other ways to release that kind of frustration.]

[widows_kiss]

Logan. Are you propositioning me? [She pretends surprise, but the smile on her lips is knowing and genuine as she sits up once more.] I'm not opposed to letting off some steam somewhere private. As long as we're both clear from the start that's all we're interested in. Which I suppose should be a moot point, but you can't blame a girl for being careful.

[snikting]

If you're asking whether I'm interested in courting you? Not a chance. I don't date SHIELD agents.

[But hell. Sleeping with them? No big deal.]

[widows_kiss]

[She scoffs at that, looking amused.]

Well, that makes two of us then.

[...Mostly. This... thing this week aside. She'd always been very careful about that. Even if she hadn't expected it to be called 'courting'. At least they were mostly on the same page.]

No-strings sex it is then?

[snikting]

No strings. No one else has to even know.

[After all, he did have standards. Didn't want people finding out he did it with a SHIELD agent.]

[widows_kiss]

[She slides off her stool and eyes him with a patient quirk of her lips.] I'm not even going to ask if that's for your reputation's sake or mine. I don't think I want to know. Are you ready then, Logan, or were you planning to make a bigger dent on Luceti's alcohol reserves first?

[snikting]

[It's his own reputation at stake. But he gives her question a moment's thought before reaching over the bar for another full bottle of booze.]

There. Got me a care package to last me. [He's ready.]

[widows_kiss]

[She eyes the bottle with a skeptical look, amusement in her eyes] Are you sure you're capable of letting off steam with that much alcohol in your system, Logan? Maybe I should just be tucking you into bed with a hangover cure instead.

[snikting]

I'll be sober in an hour. This is for after we're done.

[Damn healing factor. It's hard to be an alcoholic when your body is constantly canceling out the booze.]

[widows_kiss]

Good to know. [A comment which has her curious, but she doesn't press. She can sympathize, though. Her own modified makeup means it takes a concentrated effort to get drunk at all, one she rarely wastes time on, despite how often she enjoys a drink or two.]

So. Your place or mine?

[snikting]

Depends. You live alone? [His place? Full of kids who would raise an eyebrow at Logan dragging home some hot redead.]

[widows_kiss]

Mostly. Although I live on a floor above a bunch of superheroes and spies and secret agents. So, as alone as that gets me. [Her reply is wry as she shrugs.] But considering how the week's gone, it's also likely the place is empty. People have been rather... active.

[snikting]

Ya know, maybe we ought to just go find an empty apartment instead.

[He doesn't get along with... well, basically anyone. And these are all people from a similar world to him.]

Natasha grins at the suggestion and hooks her thumb towards the door in invitation as she steps away from the bar. "I think I know where we can find an empty one. If you're sure you can make it there." There's a hint of a playful challenge in her tone as she turns away, brushing red curls away from her face and there's a decided sway to her hips as she strolls out, perfectly confident that he'll follow. And rather amused by the entire exchange in general. This hadn't been exactly what she'd been looking for when she'd wandered in tonight, but she'd be lying if she said she wasn't anticipating it now.

I'm glad I did

[snikting]

"I'll get there. Just don't get us lost." A vague warning, really. She was leading and he was willing to follow, both for what was waiting for them and because, hell, he wasn't sober yet and wasn't eager to become sober again in any hurry.

[widows_kiss]

She rolls her eyes at that, but leads the way without comment, slipping out of the bar and down a side street. There was an empty house nearby - furnished, but with no sign of occupants that she'd ever seen and this is where she heads. The door's not locked and she nudges it open with her hip as she flashes a grin over her shoulder at him.

"Will this do?"

[snikting]

He'd passed this house more than once, but never paid it any mind. He did give it a cursory sniff as he stepped inside. It certainly smelled like no one had been inside for awhile.

"It's perfect." He shut the door behind them. And then he locked it, just in case anyone else got the same idea.
