[Jack is just sure now that Loki's teasing him. The alternative - that he has gone completely mad, along with Eugene - is far less probable. Never mind far less appealing.

Besides, he finds a sense of humour to be attractive.]

Oh, that! Right. Just as well the madness-of-the-week hasn't gotten to you, then. [He looks heavenward, breath escaping in a little cloud as he huffs in smirking frustration.] Can't even steal a car with this one.

The bit at the end of November, yeah. Once you'd gotten the keys it seemed a little silly to not . . . you know. Nick the vehicle too.

[Car theft probably isn't nearly enough to impress a god, should one find oneself in the unfortunate position of fancying a deity. But it's the best Jack has, and besides, hunting big game in a stolen Studebaker had been tremendous amounts of fun.]
