This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

Bil chucked as he observed a fellow blue fellow. This one, of course, was probably born this way. Quite different, but still it made Bil feel at ease.

"You look a bit blue yourself, my boy."

"Nothing wrong with that," he said with a confident grin. He tried not to dwell on all the misfortunes this man may or may not have been responsible for. "It's a lot easier than being green, after all."

"Ah, but green is such a lovely shade. There is a lovely green fellow with splendid blonde hair in your enclosure. His true form is lovely to behold."

The smile is quickly replaced by more baffled look. Because what the hell, Bil.

"You... you don't say. And here I was starting to think you didn't know us all that well..." He went on with just a bit of a stammer.

"Well I do try and keep up on the files. Luceti has always been a particular favorite of mine. But please don't tell the Vaskothans, they get terribly jealous."

Files. That was a much less creepy image of him peeking through a magical telescope at Luceti's inhabitants, but still had creepiness in its own way.

"I'll try not to brag too much if I see them."

"It's a good idea. After all, they are well on their way to making something of themselves. Why, I shouldn't be surprised if we see a Vaskothan specialist before long!"

"What do you mean by that?"

[biliruben]

"They can't stay in their bubble forever."

[wildbluevagner]

"So they're - getting a promotion?"

[biliruben]

"Something like that. They're no longer viable for experiments."

[wildbluevagner]

"Oh - that's good! Right?"

[biliruben]

"No, that's bad. You really don't know anything, do you?"

[wildbluevagner]

"I'm kind of still learning. I mean, isn't it good to be free from experiments?"

[biliruben]

"They may lose the experiments, but they face the knowledge they could spend lifetimes in this world instead. It's a rather poor exchange."

[wildbluevagner]

He falls quiet for a moment as he thinks it over.

"I didn't think of it that way. Now that's something that makes me blue."

[biliruben]

"Indeed. It makes me rather blue too."

[wildbluevagner]

"Then in the interests of keeping the two of us unique... What can we in Luceti do to not become like that?"

[biliruben]

"Avoid getting killed. Death penalties makes it that much harder for someone to return to their proper place."

[wildbluevagner]

He takes a moment to process this before giving a meek smile. "So basically we follow the same general advice I've been getting most of my life: 'Don't die'. I'll try to keep that a priority, then."

"Then I wish you the best of luck, my fellow blue friend."

[wildbluevagner]

"Uh... same to you. Keep it... blue?"

He gives a meek wave and smile as he departs from the table.
