This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

Mm, sleeping was the last thing Fuuko could do. Fuuko thinks that anyone who can fall asleep quickly on a night like that must be a professional sleeper.

[Sitting up now, being slumped over a table isn't the best of positions to sleep in.]

Fuuko is surprised to still be falling asleep after the first few times.

Well did you actually lay down and sleep or do mean people like me keep waking you up in the middle of it?

No, if Fuuko was going to lay down and sleep somewhere then Fuuko would lay down on a bed. Fuuko would rather be woken up at this point, Fuuko does not want to be seen as lazy.

I don't think you're lazy. Do you feel okay, though? You might be sick.

[starfishlovesyou]

That's good, it would be terrible if a rumour about how lazy Fuuko is got out. [Maybe not as terrible as being drafted and being where she is now though.]

Fuuko feels fine, maybe if Fuuko eats something then Fuuko will stay awake.

[Eating something seemed like a good plan after the first few times she fell asleep, but she didn't plan on falling asleep again before she had the chance to eat anything. At least she made it to the mess hall.]

I think maybe Fuuko should go sleep in a bed for a few hours. [But. If she wants to eat and thinks it will help.] I'll go get you some food though.

[starfishlovesyou]

Maybe. [There's a nod and a smile at that.] Thank you very much.

[corrinesbell]

Hey, maybe I'll even find something that looks like food.

[And up she goes. It'll be a good idea for her to eat something too.]

[Good luck with that Sheena. In the mean time, Fuuko stretches her arms out and tries to look forward to whatever edible delight Sheena brings back.

It's not long before she falls asleep again though, head down, chin pressed against her chest.]

[When she comes back to the table and finds Fuuko asleep again? She really starts to worry. Setting down her laden tray, she pops into the seat beside Fuuko and...well, her ideas have run out. Waking her again seems cruel.]

Fuuko?

[She mumbles something under her breath when she hears her name, but she sighs heavily soon after and goes back to how she was before. Breathing deeply, sound asleep in an incredibly uncomfortable position.]

[corrinesbell]

Hey. Fuuko, c'mon. [This time the arm meant to wake her goes around her shoulders.] You sure you feel okay?

[starfishlovesyou]

[When she wakes this time she gives the hall another quick glance over and turns to Sheena. She feels fine, there's no pain, discomfort or anything like that. But to be dozing off again so soon after being woken up has her worried now.]

Fuuko doesn't know... This is far from normal for Fuuko.

[corrinesbell]

Yeah, I know. That's why I think something's up.

[starfishlovesyou]

What could be wrong though? Fuuko feels no different than yesterday, only Fuuko keeps going to sleep when this really isn't the time for Fuuko to be sleeping.

[corrinesbell]

I dunno. But we'll get somebody to figure it out. Don't worry, okay? And maybe you should eat first.

[starfishlovesyou]

Fuuko will try not to worry.

[Sleeping aside she really is quite hungry, even if the look of the food alone isn't all the appetizing. Fuuko reaches over for the tray and slides it in front of her before starting to eat. At least she can't fall asleep while eating, or so she hopes anyway.]

Fuuko did not have the chance to say it before, but thank you again for getting Fuuko something to eat.

Don't worry about it. I don't know if it's all that edible but you can try, right? We might not get anything close to food out there.

[Having taken a mouthful of fairly unremarkable slop/food in her mouth, she can't help but wonder just what went into something like this. Or maybe it's better that she doesn't know.]

Fuuko does not know if this is already close to food or not. If we were not talking about food before hand then Fuuko would not know what else to call this.

I'd call it...a different kind of experiment. Maybe I should've brought stuff with me. [This time, she just didn't think of it.

Sheena sits kind of close to Fuuko while she eats. If she falls asleep again, she might fall off the bench and nobody wants that to happen. So Sheena is prepared to catch her.]

If this really is a different experiment then Fuuko thinks eating more would be the absolute worst idea.

[Weird things happen when she eats things that are to do with experiments okay. Someone might end up asking her to get married again all because she ate something! With that in mind she makes the next mouthful her last.

As for sleeping she seems fine... For now.]

[She makes a good point. Fuuko makes a lot of good points if you listen long enough.]

You still might wanna try. Maybe later, or something. You feel okay to walk, right?

[Sadly most people seem to switch off when it comes to the starfish rambling. Or the third person speech.]

Later sounds like...

[A short intake of breath later and she's out like a light, mid-conversation. Her body sways for a moment, though luckily she doesn't slip back from the bench. Instead she slumps forward, her face headed for the tray of food in front of her.]

[corrinesbell]

Whoa! [Thanks to quick reflexes, Sheena just barely manages to keep Fuuko from landing in her subpar dinner. She pulls the girl back instead, so she's half-leaning against her.

And she looks around for help.]

We really do have to find you a doctor or something.

[starfishlovesyou]

[Fuuko's eyes flutter open for a brief moment before closing again, leaving her fast asleep against Sheena's side. Turns out Sheena makes a pretty good pillow, or a better one than the food Fuuko was going to use anyway.]
