This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

"Do you have any conception of how sophisticated a rock must be in order to do something other than be thrown at things with the intention of denting them?" he asked, amused. "They work very well. We could do with them here. You wouldn't forever be sewing people back together."

He laughed. "Only once."

"If I spend less time sewing people back together I'll have more time to bother you." Banter. Banter would be good. It'd be normal and not whatever that shuddering mess she'd been was.

"Mine used to steal my chair if I left it to fetch tea. Luminair and Maggir have taken over that in the time I've lived here."

"I'll ask Lady Rapunzel to teach you to knit," he said. No one could say no to Rapunzel.

"Sif doesn't tend to do that... she just rides on my shoulder when I'm off to fetch something."

[fleurdesel]

"So instead of stitching up skin I'll be stitching you a scarf. Fantastic." And yet it would keep her busy enough and feeling somewhat productive.

"...I'm trying to imagine that now and failing."

[complicatedliar]

"Well, stitching someone a scarf. They make lovely gifts." He snorted. "It keeps the hands occupied. Sometimes that is important, yes?"

Loki shot her a grin. "Your imagination must not be very good."

"Of everyone I know precious few are the scarf wearing type. Besides. I think you could make it look good."

Scarfs and kittens and imagination. She wasn't her usual self, but she was a far sight from the panicking woman he'd seen initially.

"It is, truly, but it's not at it's best right now. I'll take your word for it that it's adorable."

"Well, I do like a pretty scarf now and then, I'll admit. But I prefer mine to be decorative rather than warm. So if you did make it look nice enough..."

He laughed. "Well, you can always come for another visit and you might witness the spectacle in person."

[fleurdesel]

"I'm certain I'll manage something fashionable enough for your refined tastes." Green. Green with Nordic geometric patterns and she'll think of something appropriate for the trim. Having a project to plan in the back of her mind did wonders for her focus.

"The next time I bring you dinner. What were we on, Thailand or Taiwan?"

[complicatedliar]

"And then I shall need a nice suit to go with it. It shall never end." He laughed.

"I seem to remember Thailand being the current place."

[fleurdesel]

"If you want a nice suit you are speaking to the wrong LeBlanc. I know how to suture the edges of a wound- if you want a French Lapel speak to my older sister."

[complicatedliar]

"She isn't anywhere about or I would." He snorted. "Though I think it would please some a bit too much if I went about in human clothes."

[fleurdesel]

"Because the fashions of medieval Scandinavia are oh so chic." She rolled her eyes.

[complicatedliar]

"The fashions of Asgard, actually," he said dryly. "And I find them very comfortable." Not to mention suitably imposing.

"I suppose they are after a suitably dramatic fashion."

[complicatedliar]

"Functional as well. Human clothing is quite thin."

[fleurdesel]

"If you think men's clothing is thin you should not look too closely at women's. Unless you see fit to trick Thor into a gown again. In which case- please tell me first so I might catch it on camera."

[complicatedliar]

Loki laughed. "Lady LeBlanc, I'm quite well acquainted with the wonderful way women's clothing of modern Midgard is both thin and tight. I can't imagine why."

[fleurdesel]

"...do I want to know how often you've been undressing her, or should I just. Not."

[complicatedliar]

"Whether you do or not, a gentleman doesn't tell, you terrible woman."

[fleurdesel]

"And you're a gentleman since...?" When did it become easy, become comfortable to tease Loki. God of mischief. A dangerous and volatile god. She honestly couldn't remember and yet, somehow, this put her at ease just as well as anything else.

"Since I took up with a lady, presumably."

[fleurdesel]

"I suppose that counts enough."

[complicatedliar]

"If not, I shall have to try much harder. I wouldn't want to disappoint her."

"I would hate for you to strain yourself with the effort."

"I am very delicate. The strain might well prove too much."
