This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

Oh, without her lips thoroughly kissed. Nice of him to be specific. The faintest hint of a blush lit her cheeks and she tapped him on the nose with her finger. "No. Bad idea."

They had other responsibilities and they couldn't afford to be distracted.

...it was very hard to remember that with the way he was looking at her right now.

She gasped and pulled her hand back to her thigh, "Loki!"

But Rogue was smiling. She couldn't help smiling. He made her smile. Even in the middle of all of this, he made her smile.

Loki had no intention of it being a last kiss. He made it a long and tender one, reaching back to the feeling of giving her that necklace.

Rogue shut her eyes and responded, lingering. As far as she was concerned, this was 'goodbye' until they got back safely to Luceti.

He had no intention of it being any sort of goodbye either. After one lingering kiss, he went for another one, more teasing. "We will not be so far apart during this, you know."

She accepted his kiss with a wry quirk of her lips and part of her realized that this had already gone beyond all planned barriers. Rogue had to pull away so he could read her lips, "No, we'll just be surrounded by people who want to kill us, or people we decided not ta make privy to our private lives. I'll try an' come by to see you when I can, but I mean it - we have to stay focused."

He grinned. "I find myself quite focused." This time he reached down to take her hand, bring it up to his lips for a kiss. "But I shall hope that we shall find time for each other."

Rogue smiled and rolled her eyes lightly, shaking her head. "If we don't get ta try out your invisibility shield," and she planned on steering clear of that, "I'll make it up to you when we get back. How do the hot springs sound to you?"

Rogue couldn't help but remember the last time they had found each other there and she smirked a little, "I'll let ya share my pool."

"Brat!" Rogue accused, smiling and shaking her head. "Yes," she smirked, "you're going to have to start out wearing shorts."

"Oh good, I was worried for a second." No, she really wasn't. Leaning forward, she teasingly brushed his lips with hers before pulling back and holding up the necklace that still dangled from her fingers. "Do you wanna put it on me?"

The idea hadn't actually occurred to him, but since she'd brought it up, he rather liked the thought. "Yes, I'd like that very much." He slipped the pendant from her fingers and undid the clasp.

Rogue smiled, releasing the pendant. She scooted around so that her back was to his front and lifted up her shoulder-length hair with one hand.

Loki lowered the pendant in front of her, then did up the clasp of the chain at the back of her neck. He let it rest lightly on her skin, then leaned forward to place a delicate kiss just above it.

Heh. Rogue smiled at the kiss on her neck, glancing down at where the pendent fell on her chest. Then she twisted around and gave him a proper kiss.

His arms slipped around her waist as he leaned into that kiss, his fingers curling lightly against her stomach.

Definitely to be remembered for next time - his lady liked jewelry.

Rogue lifted one gloved hand and rested it against his cheek as she gave herself over to kissing him thoroughly. It would be easy to lose herself in this, but after some time Rogue made herself pull away. "Be safe," she whispered.

He pulled back enough to read those words on her lips, then ducked in for one last little kiss. "You as well, my lady."

Loki knew a goodbye when he heard one. He gave her a crooked smile and then vanished.

"...you really have to stop doin' that," she said, watching the space where he disappeared. Then she looked down at his gift, smiling, and lifted it up to watch which direction it would point. She smiled as it tugged towards the barracks. Then Rogue rose and tucked it into her uniform. It would be better not to attract attention, and she'd hate to have it ripped off or damaged in a fight.
