This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

"It's just a little altitude, sickness, I'm fine."

[She turns her head to face Rapunzel a little too fast, and her head throbs unpleasantly, causing her to wince and grit her teeth.]

"... fine. But don't go babying me."

[gleamed]

I'm not babying. I just want to make sure you're in good health for tomorrow. Where do you hurt the most?

[xenamorph]

"Uh..."

[She considers that question for a moment and answers, as concisely and accurately as possible]

"...yes."

[gleamed]

[ ...Aha. Maybe her hair isn't the place to start then. ]

Would you like some water? You should lie down.

[xenamorph]

[... water... actually sounds really good right now.

In fact wasn't that a big cause of altitude sickness?

Grudgingly, she nods and murmurs]

"Please."

[She does not, however, lie down. As tempting as it sounds.]

[gleamed]

[ Rapunzel flies off to get a glass of water, only to return a moment later, holding it out for Rachel. ]

Here. Drink this. It will help.

[xenamorph]

"Thanks."

[She does drink it. Gratefully.

Also entirely too fast. Oh that sucked. That sucked a lot. She slams the glass down, wincing in pain.]

"... Ugh, that was a mistake."

[gleamed]

[ Oh. Oh dear. ]

Here - I really think you ought to lie down.

[xenamorph]

"Uh, yeah. Yeah, lying down sounds good."

[There's pride and then there's willpower, and she's out of the latter.]

[gleamed]

[ Rapunzel offers her an arm, gesturing toward a nearby cot. ] Alright. Let's get you over there.

[xenamorph]

[She complies, out of sheer exhaustion, and doesn't so much lie down on the cot as flop.

Face down. Like a champ. Apparently even when she's complying she can't stop being difficult.]

"Sorry. Normally I'm not such a whiner."

[gleamed]

[ Rapunzel can't help a small snicker at that. She had infinite patience on her side. ]

You're not the only one feeling sick. Don't feel bad.

[xenamorph]

"Yeah, I just don't like feeling weak."

[She sighs and rolls onto her side, eyes already starting to drift closed.]

"Thanks, though. You're a nice kid, y'know?"

[gleamed]

[ Rapunzel smiles warmly at that. ]
