This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

[ She shakes her head. ] It's not an issue of wing lift -- I keep having dizzy spells. This wasn't happening in Luceti. Or in Equestria.

It might be the air up here or something. It's probably thinner, for one.

Must be. [ Her left forehoof is itching. She scratches absently at it, then looks down. Squints. Something must be wrong with her eyes, her fur usually isn't pink like Pinkie Pie's. ]

_{[ He could see her scratching and frowning, but took them for nervous ticks.]}

[ She shakes her head. ] I must have jostled something when I fell before...

[ It's spreading, though, and now her entire left leg is a brilliant shade of pink. Then her leg swims before her eyes and she stumbles. ] Woah...

Uh... do you guys change colors sporadically? Please say yes.

[ Her head's pounding, and she's finding it hard to concentrate. ] Oh, it's not just my eyes?

Nope. And believe me, I'm not good with identifying the more feminine colors, but I can tell the different between purple and pink.

[ She groans. ] Is this sort of thing normal?

I don't know. Do ponies normally change color?

No, I mean is it normal for here.

[ Lying down seems like a good idea right about now. What do you mean she's in the middle of the path? ]

_{[ Kirk sighed and he came over, grabbing her surprisingly light weight and dragging her out of the way of other people, running his fingers through her mane. ]}

Hey now, come on, I'm not a vet so I'll be no help if you're really sick.

I'm fine, really! [ She chokes, then spits up some bile on the sidewalk. ] Oh... this feels like what Dash said altitude sickness was for some other ponies. I didn't think it'd be a problem now that I've got wings!

Just because you can fly doesn't mean you don't get altitude sickness. I think that's why some people don't like planes.
