This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

[ She nods. ] I've got my wings and my magic. Hopefully that's enough to make a difference on the battlefield.

The good thing is that no one asset is better than the others. Or that's what I've found in my many forays into these drafts. I think you should do as much as you can and that's all that matters.

Well, I'll try to follow Daisy's advice, too. She showed me her strategy write-ups from previous drafts. I heard the jungle one was... well, difficult.

[ Oh. Oh yes the jungle draft was indeed terrible. Helios' eyes widen with a bit more fear than he intended to show. He'll turn his head downward to hide his obvious fear and overall displeasure. The jungle draft was not just difficult, it was the draft that he died on to protect his friends, no, his family. ]

It was very, um, difficult. [ The fact that they didn't win either made it all the worse. ]

So you were there? [ She tries to find the right words. ] Is there any other advice you'd recommend adding to my current collection?

[folklorist]

Ah, yes I was. [ He doesn't sound too terribly pleased about it either. ]

Recommend? Hm. Staying with a group of at least two people or more. Make sure that you have enough food and supplies in case you're away from the main camp for more than a few hours or-or even days. A-And make sure to not rely too heavily on-on one specific form of fighting.

Supplies, teamwork, and combat variation. Got it.

[ She stops and re-reads her notes. ] Wait. What's so important about switching up your fight style?

[folklorist]

They have anti-shift technology that can cancel out a person's otherworldly powers. So it's sometimes necessary to, ah, bring another means of fighting with you.

Like magic? Or... flying?

[ Neither sounds like much fun. ]
