This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

[Natasha moves with the line, her expression serious.] It is easy for things to get... complicated, in that case.

He's a smart guy. I'm guessing he's got an inkling about the closeness of us. [ purely platonic, but you'd never know it from how much she hedged. ] But there are a lot of stories that are just too weird to tell.

In this place? I don't find that hard to believe at all.

But -- weirdness aside? Yes, I slay vampires. No, it's not quite like hunting vampires. Not that I've done much of either, lately.

Not a lot of those running around Luceti then? Good to know. I was in one of Derek's simulations. They're a pain in the ass.

There were a few of my kind around. For a little while. Gone, now. [ thank goodness, in drusilla's case. but buffy is less thankful about spike's disappearance. ]

Your kind are different from his, I take it?

They sure aren't infected, for one thing. Mine's more a...demon problem.

Demons? [That has Natasha arching an eyebrow in curiosity as the line moves forward again.]

Yeah. Demons. The soul flees and the demon sets up shop in your skin.

[ sorta. it's not so simple, really. ]

Well. That sounds pleasant.

You get used to it, after a while. The graveyards, I mean. You get familiar with the names. The statuary. Which crypts offer the best cover.

It's a familiar hunting ground. Even if you aren't precisely a hunter.

If anything, Luceti's the weirdo-spot. So much space and not a single cemetery.

I think that would require dead people. Or at the very least, a body. Those don't seem to pop up often here. Or, if they do, they don't seem to stay that way.

There is that little memorial garden, but I suppose it's hardly the same.
