[Loki shows to be quite good at dodging and the sudden chaos around him keeps him on his toes. He is angry and sometimes it shows. Even though his magic has become better it takes a lot of energy to perform a spell.

He does not notice Helios until he hears his voice. For a moment he stands still and waves.]

Helios!

[It is good to see his tutor up and running again. At least there is that.]

[ Helios is going to be taking on a few droids slicing at their legs with the green light saber in his hand as he makes his way over to his student. A ball of sparking energy lays dormant in his hand and Loki can probably hear the crackling of electricity and lightning as it awaits the next target. ]

Loki. What are you doing here all by yourself? Are you all right? I'm glad I found you when I did, there's no telling how many more droids are going to be on us in the next few minutes or so. Seems like the cultists got a hold of them.

[Loki perks up at the sight of a lightsaber slicing through droids. After all, a lightsaber would be most fitting for a situation like this. Loki's arrows would only work at humans, not on robotic creatures of doom and gloom.]

It seems I have been busy with fighting a war that is not mine.

[He hops closer to Helios.]

Do not worry about me, I'll be fine.

[Still, there's an obvious bloody smudge on his tunic and at some places his clothes are slightly torn. And he is not fine, he is far from fine. Loki is quite angry at this point.

He keeps his eyes in front of him while talking to the other.]

That is unfortunate, it seems like we are on the losing side, you see?

[ Helios will take out another droid with a burst of electrical magic laughing breathlessly as he does so. ]

You, ah, don't s-seem to be fine. [ That bloody smudge on his clothes and rips and tears suggest otherwise. ] Are you certain?

[ Adrenaline has a habit of blocking out pain receptors. ]

I hope you're not r-right about that. I-I don't want to think about what would happen if-if we lost. [ Helios can only imagine actually, and it's nothing good to think about either. ]

Are you referring to my damaged clothes?

[Loki moves to climb on a droid's back, removes a piece of iron by jamming his dagger into the right place and starts plucking into wires.]

Just because my clothes are in quite a terrible state does not mean I am in a terrible state. And the blood is not mine. It belo ah...

[Loki stops talking and moves to focus on the droid again because it wishes to throw him off and stab him with one of very stabby things. He summons a quick flame and decides to burn those wires through.]

...It belongs to one of the dream manipulators.

[When the droid under him caves Loki jumps off and hurries his way towards Helios.]

Well, they got their hands on these robotic creatures. They are quite sturdy.

Yes that's what I was referring to.

[ Helios will wince, ducking his head and slicing a droid in half with his light saber before turning to blast a few with his lightning magic. ]

But if-if you're sure. I mean, ah, if you're sure you're not injured...

[ That didn't mean mentally everything was all right. Drafts like these often had adverse effects on the younger population of Luceti. But Helios can see that Loki is rather well acquainted with fighting. But even gods can falter, especially ones as young as. ]

You got...caught in a dream shift? [ His voice betrays his sorrow and his guilt for not being able to help his own student. Running into a dream shifter was probably one of the worst things about this draft. They were a terrible adversary to even the most well schooled and well trained warrior. The fact that Loki had been trapped inside dream shift made his current disposition rather telling that everything wasn't as all right as it seemed. ]

Ah, Helios, do not fret. I am fine. Perfectly fine. Do not allow my height to tell you otherwise. I am still a deity, you know.

[Loki puts his hands on his hips and and gives the other a confident look. He's got this. Sort of.]

I have some minor gashes on my fingertips due to all the wire-ripping and droid-cutting I have done. Apparently my gloves do not provide enough protection, you see?

[Unfortunately for Loki magic takes time, as if his body is not willing to summon anything forth unless it would require a full blown headache. The flash of light that emerges from his fingers is short and the headache comes right after that.]

[He notices the tone in Helios' voice and is not quite able to place it. Worry? Guilt? Why?]

Of-of course, you're absolutely right. I apologize for, um, not taking your word for it. [ He laughs sheepishly. Of course Loki was fine. He was a god after all. ]

Do you want me to heal them for you? N-Nala is pretty decent with smaller cuts and bruises. It'll make things easier for you at least. [ He frowns as he eyes Loki's hands.

Leah. Loki mentioned her before as a good friend. So he can only imagine what he had to do to end the dream. He'll focus on the healing, not wanting to press the matter anymore so than need be. ]

No, no, no, do not apologize.

[Loki shakes his head, there is absolutely no need for an apology. But he does hold out his hands, showing how the tips of his gloves are torn and damaged and there are tiny, red gashes showing. Nothing big, after all, Loki knew he always had been a bit more sturdy than the average individual.]

Yes, I would like that. But we need to be quick.

[He is glad that Helios decides not to pry about what happened during the dream shift. It has been rather hurtful. Even though it was an illusion, it still hurts. And he still misses her an awful lot.]

Where did you get the light saber? Did Luke of Star Wars allow you to borrow his?
