[ She nods, cracking her knuckles as she turned towards the oncoming droids. ]

Piece of cake. I got 'em.

[etherealblast]

Right. Let's go! [And Fayt's going to take point, trying to cut his way through and leave taking care of any followers to her.]

[precipitous]

[ She nods as he takes off. Korra barrels into the droids that try to follow him, using one as a step-ladder to launch herself into the air and level a hefty kick to another’s head. Bending or no bending, she still knew how to fight. ]

[etherealblast]

[Fayt works on cutting his way through any droids that manage to escape Korra, but for the most part, it seems like the plan worked. He finally has move to room.

More importantly, to pursue the shifter. He thinks he sees a flash of wings darting behind some rubble up ahead and picks up the pace, trying to reach it.]

[precipitous]

[ Korra demands the attention of the droids by knocking them to the ground with her brute strength. She can’t hope to actually destroy them without her bending, but she can at least keep them down. She just has to give the other guy enough time. ]

[etherealblast]

[There. There the shifter was, trying to stay out of sight behind some battle wreckage but close enough to control the team of droids. It made them vulnerable... and Fayt was going to take advantage of it.

He charges the soldier, taking him by surprise by not using his sword to land the first strike-- a hard kick sends them flying into a wall instead, bending the wings at their back awkwardly, and then Fayt is on them. landing his sword in their gut before they can retaliate much beyond a frenzied, half landed punch.]

[precipitous]

[ Korra feels the influence of the Shifter fade, like the chi has started to flow in her body again. Good thing, too. The droids were wisening up to her fighting style, so now it was time to pay them a nice surprise in the form of a series of firebended flame balls burning through their wiring. ]

[etherealblast]

[Fayt shakes off the punch and removes his sword, glancing around to see where that girl was.] You ok?!

[Well... she certainly looked like it. Was that some sort of special technique?]

[precipitous]

Never better! [ She shouts over the roar of her fire. ] Thanks for taking him out!

[etherealblast]

Couldn't have done it without your help! [He throws himself back into the fight again, working on helping finish up the droids with slashes for the most part.

He'd need to use a healing symbol, after this.]

[precipitous]

[ She kicks one's legs out and burns down its wiring with her firebending - that should be the last of them, for now.

She takes a deep breath, glancing back at him. ]

You okay?

[etherealblast]

[He yanks his sword out of the droid he'd finished off himself, grinning a bit.] I'm fine!

[Just some minor injuries and a nasty bruised side. But letting those go could get dangerous after a while, and he knew that.] Nothing a healing symbol can't fix.

[precipitous]

[ She tilts her head, wondering if that's anything like her waterbending. ]

Healing symbol?

[etherealblast]

[....Argh.

Not again.]

It's like magic? Yeah.

[precipitous]

[ Okay, magic. She just watches him intently. ]

Can I watch?

[etherealblast]

Watch....? Sure, I guess. [It's not really too complex. Just a simple symbol, but it's the only Symbol he had for wounds. Symbology was more Sophia's thing, after all.

He marks the air quietly, the symbol appearing in front of him for a second before it finishes gathering energy and begins to take effect. As the energy he invokes sinks into his skin, the smaller scratches and wounds he has begin to close, bruises fading a little and a bit of his exhaustion going along with it.]

[precipitous]

[ Oh, wow. That's pretty incredible. Of course, she's pretty easy to impress with magic considering bending is so different. Her healing powers didn't work at all like that. ]

That's amazing!

[etherealblast]

[That draws a bit of a laugh from him as the symbol finishes it's work.] If you think that's amazing, you should see what a friend of mine back where I come from can do. This is pretty small stuff compared to her skills.

[precipitous]

I wouldn't say being able to heal yourself is small stuff. Only waterbenders can do it where I'm from.

[etherealblast]

Oh? [He shifts, reaching back and settling his sword in the sheath at his back for now. It didn't look like there was anyone around, anyway...]

Symbology isn't commonly used where I come from, but medicine is advanced enough we don't need it that badly.

[precipitous]

So, are you more advanced than Luceti?

[etherealblast]

...Yeah, my home is. [Other planets weren't, but... Earth was definitely more advanced then the village.]

[precipitous]

Huh. [ Her world was close, but some of the technology she'd seen still baffled her. ] Still, probably good to know how to heal yourself just in case, right?

[etherealblast]

It can be pretty useful in certain instances. [Like getting stranded on a planet that didn't have advanced medical science.]
