[ She pursed her lips. ]

How bad is it?

Bad enough that I've found it necessary to go out there myself.

But in the grand scheme of things, not so bad at all.

[gleamed]

[ She pauses her questioning for a moment to sing her healing incantation, causing her hair to glow and the cut on Loki’s arm to seal. ]

There were... what did the mortals call them. Yes. Zombies. There were zombies on my first draft. That is the standard of awfulness by which I shall judge all others.

[gleamed]

[ Her expression tightens. She’d heard about the virus, but it was still hard to imagine things being worse than this. ]

It must have been so horrible.

[complicatedliar]

It was unpleasant. I've been through worse. But I'd rather not do that again.

[gleamed]

You've seen a lot of fighting, haven't you?

[complicatedliar]

I spent nearly a thousand years as a warrior of Asgard, Lady Rapunzel. Even if I was a poor excuse for one.

[gleamed]

[ A thousand years was an awfully long time to see fighting... ]

It's just hard for me to imagine. Even when the Malnosso came into the village and fought the villagers, that was nothing like this.

[complicatedliar]

It hasn't become particularly brutal yet, all told.

[He smiles slightly.] I regret you were taken on this draft.

[gleamed]

[ If she were to be truthful, she regretted being here, but there wasn't anything she could do about that, and she felt selfish at the thought. She was here, so she could at least help her friends. How could she think of abandoning them? ]
