[ The blasts Twilight lets loose knock out cultists in their path, but don't seem to kill them - Twilight doesn't actually know lethal magic. Nor is she anxious to learn.

Although once she hears a large growl up ahead, she might reconsider that. ]

Uh-oh. Hunters, dead ahead!

[spohkh]

[Spock quickly changes his phaser from stun, to kill as he ducks behind another pillar.
Rolling, he shoots at the oncoming threat... the rapid fire phaser bringing down dozens at a time...

Normally Spock wouldn't be so violent, nor so amenable to kill...

....yet here he was.

The Vulcan brought out a knife, signaling Twilight to go on ahead for cover. It wouldn't do for the pony to get hurt...]

[ Twilight lands and summons a localized force field, than leaps forward through the ranks, taking out an enemy here or there with a hoof. She reaches a control panel - it looks very damaged. ] Spock! Is this what we're looking for?

[spohkh]

[Spock follows Twilight...

....he stares at the force field with an eyebrow.]

Will this hold?

An yes, that is what we are looking for. [Spock crouches down beside the control panel, eyeing the force field warily.]

[ She strengthens the force field; sparks fly off of her horn. ] It should. I've made weaker ones at home, and they've managed to keep out forces of -

[ She doesn't finish her sentence before the Hunters start hurling themselves bodily at Twilight's field; the whole thing wobbles dangerously. ] You might want to hurry!

[spohkh]

[Spock whipped his PADD out of his messenger bag and pulled out a pile of wires from the control panel.
Connecting the live wires to a raw feed, the Vulcan was able to take a diagnostic scan....

....it wasn't good.]

How much time can you give me Miss Twilight? [Spock didn't allow the panic to show in his voice.]

[ She grunts. ] Long enough if you hurry! Is there anything I can do to help?

[ On a whim, she fires two bolts of energy at the ceiling. It collapses, cutting off the corridor from incoming attackers. Should buy them some time. ]

[spohkh]

Please just keep them occupied.

[Spock immerses himself in the wires, practically crawling into the console to acquire better access.
He burns his hand on one live wire, but manages to connect it before long.
It takes precious minutes, but soon the Vulcan emerges once more and stands.

Looking up at the large barrier wall the Vulcan almost sighs.]

It would seem that this console works in conjunction with the other consoles. There must be a master switch somewhere that dictates usage.

We have to go....

[ The enemies are getting through the rock barrier, despite Twilight's attempts to keep it in place with her telekinesis. ]

Wait a minute! Are you saying the only way out is back the way we came?!

[spohkh]

[Spock looks between her and the barrier....]

Yes.... I am afraid so.

We can do this Miss Twilight. [Spock charges his phaser on full.]

Drop your shield when you are ready.... [Spock takes aim, waiting for the pony.]

[ She's done a pretty good job at creating an impromptu rock barrier, all things considered. But simultaneously dropping her telekinesis and hitting the wall just so will eliminate it without much difficulty. ]

Get ready, I'm dropping the wall. [ She lets go and fires a bolt of magic at the spot she was looking at. ] Now! [ And it all comes crumbling, revealing the enemies behind it. ]

[spohkh]

Move!

[Spock fired into the crowd... several dropping from rapid phaser fire.]

Twilight! Get out of here! I will follow!

[ Twilight's hesitant to go, but she sprints out anyway -- short enough to dodge between the enemies. On the other side, she turns around and looks for Spock. He's nowhere to be seen.

With a supreme effort, she focuses her magic on the enemies' guns. Every one of them starts to levitate, whether their wielder is attached to them or not, throwing off their aim or their grip entirely. ]

[Once Twilight gives him the clear, he runs past the weaponless cultists and joins his equine hero.

He fires into the stunned crowd, and shouts at Twilight to run.]
