How are you at climbing? [Artemis jerks her thumb at the roof she'd been using before the girl had crash landed.] Although it's a little harder to punch from a distance. I think I saw a collapsed building back the way, if that'd be better? Might make for some good cover."

"I used to be a gymnast. Mobility is not an issue."

[She heads toward the building as if that settled the issue.]

"Plus, I figure once I'm up to morphing again we can back each other up. You can cover distance with the whole archery deal and I can stomp anybody who gets too close."

[Artemis shoots her a grin as she falls into step with her, backtracking towards the building she'd passed earlier.]

A shapeshifting gymnast, huh? That's one I haven't heard before. But that sounds like a pretty capable plan. I'm decent at close combat, but I'm better at ranged. There's just so damned many of them.

[xenamorph]

"I hear you. Trust me, close range is my strong point. Turning into a grizzly bear tends to give you the edge in a fistfight."

[She flashes a grin right back at that, and her eyes seem to light up with the prospect.]

[Artemis contemplates that concept in surprise a moment before laughing.] Damn. I'm glad you're on our side.

"Damn right, you are."

[She doesn't seem to waste much time as she begins climbing along the wrecked building Artemis mentioned.]

"Let me know where you want to set up your little perch. I'll morph and do the meat-shield thing."

[She glances up, eyes taking in their surroundings, handholds, good places of cover. Spotting a likely spot, she starts towards it, scaling up half a collapsed wall with careful skill.]

Think I found one. I'll let you know.

... Wow. I derped that one hard.

"Awesome."

[She wants something light and mobile, on terrain like this, so rather than the grizzly, she's going to go back to her newest favorite battle morph-

The Hork-Bajir.

Don't be alarmed if blades suddenly sprout from her arms. It's totally normal, she promises.]

[The spot proved to be a good one and Artemis finds the best vantage point and sets down her quiver as she unfolds her bow again. Glancing down over the edge of the wall to where she left the other girl, she pauses in surprise as she takes in... she's not sure what that is.]

"Oh, ha-haaAAAAAARRRRRRK"

[Her attempt at a comeback is cut off when she suddenly sprouts a beak. However, once her thought-speak is working again, she just responds that way.]

-Shifting rubble and high spaces. Not conducive to big old bears. Decided to go with something a little better at climbing.-

[Once the morph finishes, she moves over near Artemis again.]

[She has to admit, studying the form Rachel's taken is more interesting than cultists for the moment.]
