[ She shook her head. ]

No, that's not it at all. You're brave to go out there at all. And there's nothing wrong with being afraid. [ A beat. ] Being afraid, knowing it's wrong...that's what makes us different from them.

... I guess so. [Being told that it's tough yet he has to do it, having special precautions taken in the past because of his fear - It's hard to believe Rapunzel because of that, even if it does make him feel a little better. She can do that, with him.]

I just feel like I'm slowing people down. They... I get told as much, too. [He finally does look at her - or, at least, her shoulder.] Sometimes I feel like I'd be better off helping out here than fighting out there.

[ She could keep drilling it in, how she didn't think he was wasting anyone's time or slowing people down. But instead, she uses another tactic that she hopes will help him see his self-worth a little clearer. ]

[That makes him really look at her, his eyes meeting hers rather than her shoulder, and lift his head up a little.]

Y... You don't mind?

[gleamed]

Of course not! A second pair of hands is always helpful around here.

[Luke does a last swipe under his eyes and nose, then uses the wall to help stand himself up. He still looks a little unsure, a little hesitant... troubled, too. There's still the whole thing with Asch... But at least he looks better than before.]

I don't really know a lot about first aid stuff... I can heal a little, though.

[gleamed]

[ She claps her hands together excitedly. ] You can? That's wonderful! Don't worry. I'll tell you exactly what to do.

[fabrecation]

[He raises an eyebrow at her enthusiasm, then gives a sheepish little smile as he glances to the side.]

Thanks, Rapunzel. I might be a little slow at it...

[gleamed]

That's alright. When taking care of people, a slow and steady hand is better than a hasty one.
