[He has the windows open - or rather smashed - so he hears Sabriel loud and clear. Then he quickly pulls over near her.]

[With a leap she grabs a hold of the car's frame with her feet braced on the edges of one of the broken windows. Behind her come the familiar shouts and cries of the cultists that had been on her tail.]

[And he puts the pedal to the metal, wildly veering off through the streets.]

[Holding on tight as the car takes off swerving Sabriel manages to channel enough of her will and Charter magic into her shield bracelet to stop the incoming arrows and spears from hitting the vehicle as they speed away. Turning her head to watch the figures disappear in the dust she smiles with a short huff of a laugh.]
