[Minutes go by, Vastra tries to keep as quiet as she can while eating. It's a messy process though, and a body doesn't exactly come apart quietly. Occasionally she looks up to see if Natasha is watching.]

[Soon, Vastra is straightening up and wiping her mouth again. She takes a deep breath and lets it out--yes, that is much better.]

Natasha dear? [Vastra calls upwards, then bends down to pick up the clothing and pack it into her bag for emergency situations. Because that's all that's left: clothes.]

What, no dessert?

[There's still humor evident in Natasha's voice as she calls back to her and a moment later, she drops down off the wall to land in front of Vastra once more, an impish grin gracing her lips.]

[Vastra raises her brow slightly at the suggestion, thinks of an off-color comment to make, then lets it drop with a slight shake of her head.] No, not today. Perhaps tomorrow.

[Natasha snickers quietly at that, letting her gaze sweep their surroundings.] Well, if you want suggestions, I can point out a few options for you. Can't guarantee the flavor though.

[She flicks her gaze back to Vastra with a crooked smile.] We should get back. It's a little too quiet here for my liking.

[Vastra shuffles awkwardly. Apparently there is something that makes her uncomfortable--talking about her diet with such levity, with someone who isn't her wife or Strax (who usually said something like 'Good show, human filth probably deserved it!').] I most likely will not need to eat again for another... [She clears her throat and finishes the sentence quickly.] Two days.

Yes, it is quiet. Though at least we shan't have to worry about his friends looking for a body...

[Natasha doesn't miss that she's managed to unsettle the other woman, so she thinks a change in subject is probably in order, since that hadn't been her intent. Then again, she doubted Vastra had encountered many people who could joke about it so calmly. Most people were more squeamish than that.]

There should be a group set up outside the gate to this sector. I heard there were medics and reinforcements pushing up there this morning. I could use some more ammo, and maybe a bite to eat myself.
