[ Darn right it is cool. She can definitely appreciate that kind of compliment. She keeps working at collapsing the earth. ]

You got it, chief!

[That work at collapsing the earth was way more interesting than some of the Symbology that he's seen. There was no casting, no sudden unleashing of the spell, and no time wasted. It was very convenient for him, especially now.

He led in with a charge, throwing himself into the fray with his fists and his guts. This would be just like the other day with another girl he had at his back, and just as fun.

Primary objective: keep the mess off of the mage.]

[ She makes quick work of one corner of the building, and it starts to creak and groan in protest. Good, it's weakening. She has to work fast, because bending on such a large scale can zap her energy rather quickly, so she moves onto the next corner without a moment's hesitation. She shouldn't need to get all of the corners collapsed - two or three should do the trick, hopefully. ]

[He'd have her back if she did drain herself, and ensure an escape if it was needed, but he trusted her skills. The grind of compromised stone brought a grin to his face as he swept through enemy after enemy, but he was only one man. There were too many of them for him to quickly clear, and a few broke off and charged.]

Heads up, kid! Incoming at 11 o'clock!

[precipitous]

[ Her focus is broken, but her reflexes are quick. She turns to face the oncoming cultists, punching a series of fireballs there way to make them hurt. ]

[Very sharp instincts. Cliff would have taken a moment to be impressed if he had one, but their enemies were a more immediate concern. He made quick work of the ones that were closest to him before he made for the others.]

[precipitous]

[ Korra solidly knocks back the cultists dodging for her with a quick earthbending move, before returning to the building. She puts all of her efforts into sinking the second corner of the building, weakening the structure further. ]

[The altered terrain was noted, and Cliff was starting to get an idea of the relative angle that the structure would fall toward. He had a hunch that he felt would work if he played his cards right...

He started trying to corral the cultists into the shadow of the building, using himself as bait to do this. It was nothing to him, but he was trusting Korra's intuition and physics to make it work properly.]

[precipitous]

[ She briefly catches sight of what he's doing, and can put two and two together. She angles her bending to keep the building tilting the way it is now, digging deeper into the earth, when snap. Something in the foundation gives, and the structure starts to buckle. ]

[aerialassault]

[A wide grin spread across his face when he heard the snap. His hunch was right on both counts, and this girl was definitely someone to keep an eye on.

With one last swooping kick he pulled himself from the mass and charged out of the zone as fast as he could manage.

It was enough for him to know that the demolition was a success.]

[precipitous]

[ Korra gives the ground one final lurch to send the building toppling before she doubles back herself. She doesn’t have time to glance back, but she hopes the guy made it out in time.

There’s that sound of satisfying collapse. Yes. ]

[The only thing that could have been more satisfying was the demolition making a dent in the oppositions ranks, but there was always a certain thrill in witnessing something so massive collapse under the weight of its entire lifetime. He stopped at a safe distance from the the chaos, upwind from the cloud of debris, and watched the building crumble onto itself until there was nothing left standing.]

[precipitous]

[ With the building collapsed, Korra jumps into the air with a pumped fist. ]

Yes! We did it!

[aerialassault]

Oh yea! Ain't it great?

[precipitous]

The greatest! We make a pretty good team, huh?

[aerialassault]

Sure do. You gotta name there?

[precipitous]

It's Korra. You?

[aerialassault]

Cliff. That was pretty fun!

[precipitous]

Yeah, it was! Who knew kicking droid butt and demolishing buildings could be such a blast.

Oh, totally!
