[As soon as the truck makes its hard stop, Sheena tries to get to the back of it again, ready to stand before their freed prisoners and face whatever threat might come. She hears some kind of noise from the driver's direction, and seconds later a handful of soldiers crowds around the back of the truck, grabbing her out of it and giving her a similar on-the-ground arms-pinned treatment.]

Hey, lemme go! [Wiggling is pretty useless, whoever's holding her down is damn heavy and she's tired.] We're not with them, we just escaped!

[Her new captor doesn't seem to want to hear it. Not from her.]

[The pain of his arm distracts him thoroughly from the continued fighting just out of sight from his place on the ground, and it seems like a long time before Albert can look up again and see that the Security Forces are starting to turn the majority of their attention to the truck instead of the cultists.

He grimaces as he's allowed to sit up and lean against the truck's tire, and he wearily answers questions about who he is and what enclosure he's from and what had just happened. Out of immediate danger now, he can't say he's surprised by this treatment; with the TERRACE invaded, the soldiers had to account for these further breaches in security.]

[Well Sheena's surprised. Two of the soldiers haul her back up, keeping a grip on her arms while a third, someone of higher rank, asks her similar questions to the ones Albert's getting. She doesn't dance around the answers but she isn't happy about this treatment either; when they finally let her go, she glares and shrugs off the hands on her arms and tries to head for the back of the truck, to help them unload captives instead. The business end of a weapon prods her forward, away from the area, and someone else half-forces her to sit - on the ground beside Albert, right as they finish questioning him.

Sheena looks at him, once they're left relatively alone.]

[Albert sighs wearily as he flexes his aching arm, trying to calm down. The constant noise of the fighting in the background was far enough away now that it did not cause too much stress, so the pain had faded down to a dull throb. He glances over as Sheena looks at him, snorting softly.]

I thought you could embellish all on your own.

[corrinesbell]

[Now that it's all over, or as over as it's going to get, Sheena finds she just wants to sleep. Give it all over and lose the world for a while.]

See if I make you the hero in a story again. [Only part of her is joking.]

You're okay, right?

[chikaidestroyer]

I'll be fine.

[It's meant to be reassuring, but it just comes out tired-sounding. He doesn't even bother to make a dismissive gesture with his good hand as he leans back against the vehicle.]

We're in a much better place, at least.

[corrinesbell]

Oh yeah. Back with the Malnosso. Best place in the whole world.

[Under her breath, she huffs as she shuts her eyes.] Idiot.

[It is the most affectionate word she knows for someone at Albert's level of trust.]

[He snorts when he hears Sheena mutter something under her breath, figuring it can't be anything particularly nice about him. He's more than content to just remain there for now, resting.]
