What: The Cultural Fair
When: June 5th- 12th - admittedly dates are sort of nebulous - set up could have begun as early as the 5th, but given the event recently, more days could have been taken to do it and for people to involve themselves, so it probably "officially" starts a little later (by the 8th at the very least, though work can go on throughout it) - feel free to use your judgement/have fun!

Notes: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier.

Work probably started for it on the 5th-7/8th for labor purposes, though feel free to use dates to your advantage here! (Even if characters slapdash something at the last minute, it would be fun to see! It would even be encouraged after the crazy from the last event - kind of a way to get back in touch with themselves.)

CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth. (Helios and Ikki made posts in regard to it and there have been art club posters around, so anyone could have noticed those as well!)

I'll leave descriptions up to you all as there isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about their presentations and how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. Just keep in mind that this takes place in the plaza, there shouldn't be an issue with blocking traffic (there may be ropes up to try and keep pathways clear, however!), though it may branch around various points of the square depending on where someone wants a booth located / the number of actual participants. The square will also have a lot of brightly colored signs and decorations indicating what is going on!

"You mean without Twila. You were one of the ones it possessed, right?" She'd heard that somewhere along the way. In Tony's case, the spirit had given him certainty, and her head tilted slightly to one side. "What did it give you?"

He chuckled lowly. "Oh Lady Potts. We do not forgive. And we never forget."

He would never do either for Odin or Thor. And he knew from long experience that forgiveness was a thing never offered to Loki; that was fine. He didn't want it anyway. To want forgiveness was to admit that he wanted anything at all from them but vengeance.

"Oh, I was possessed. But Twila is not what I meant at all."

A repeat offender. [He looks impressed.] Seems this place just can't let you go.

Yeah, I have noticed that. I'll have to brush up on the rules before I get others involved. I suspect there might be people who have never played that might want to join in.

You certainly throw faster than most. That will definitely come in handy if you decide to join in on a game.

Alright. How about this evening? Gives me time to pack everything away and grab something to eat. I can be by your place around 5?

For the most part, yeah. There are a few old buildings still standing that I remember, but for the most part everything is different. [He shrugs.]

I would draw what the city looked like back then, but I don't know if I'd remember it correctly. [He does have Bucky and Peggy to help him there, but mostly he's afraid to discover how much he's forgotten.]

The impression I'd gotten was that fanged things didn't tend to be particularly furry.

Terrible taste. But you can't be rid of me since I am most certainly the prettiest.

Well, some do. When it is the only weapon you have. I've never felt the need to name my daggers.

England. We're not that friendly with the US. It varies depending on what day of the week it is.

It is the only weapon I have, actually.

[He stretches his arms one way and then the other, forward and backward, and checks his grip on the bat before springing into the first attack on the dummy. He wields the bat one-handed, like a heavy shortsword or a machete, movements arcing through blocks with the flat before chopping with the narrow edge.]

And a cricketer is a person who plays cricket. The sport that uses bats like this.

That's strange, the US and England don't seem to have a problem with each other in my world. But history might be different where you're from.

Hahaha~ if a charming woman is asking me that, I'd have to say I'm more of a "lover" than a "fighter." [And though he says this directly, his eyes briefly dart to something not focused on Asami. It's a quick movement though, and quickly reverts. His grin never falters]

But, I'm not bad.

Only with the last shift. I saw power to control fire then, but it wasn't... it wasn't nearly as good as what you're doing.

Tonight is pasta night, I think. So it will likely be some manner of pasta with chicken or beef.

Good. Maybe sometime this summer a game could be arranged with some residents. That would be fun.
