The Cultural Fair!

Who: Everyone's invited!
What: The Cultural Fair
When: June 5th- 12th - admittedly dates are sort of nebulous - set up could have begun as early as the 5th, but given the event recently, more days could have been taken to do it and for people to involve themselves, so it probably "officially" starts a little later (by the 8th at the very least, though work can go on throughout it) - feel free to use your judgement/have fun!
Where: All around the town square!
Summary: Here.
Rating: ... who knows?!

Notes: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier.

Work probably started for it on the 5th-7/8th for labor purposes, though feel free to use dates to your advantage here! (Even if characters slapdash something at the last minute, it would be fun to see! It would even be encouraged after the crazy from the last event - kind of a way to get back in touch with themselves.)

CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth. (Helios and Ikki made posts in regard to it and there have been art club posters around, so anyone could have noticed those as well!)

I'll leave descriptions up to you all as there isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about their presentations and how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. Just keep in mind that this takes place in the plaza, there shouldn't be an issue with blocking traffic (there may be ropes up to try and keep pathways clear, however!), though it may branch around various points of the square depending on where someone wants a booth located / the number of actual participants. The square will also have a lot of brightly colored signs and decorations indicating what is going on!

For ideas/reference on how it was handled last time, feel free to look through here! There's no official signup, so go forth!

[Aang gives a friendly smile upon seeing Eley while browsing around the fair, remembering their Kipinn-induced hijinks fondly. He knows that was partly due to Kipinn's influence, but he won't let that affect his opinion of the wind spirit. He leans over to scrutinize the model.]

Hey, Eley! Is this what your world looks like?

[Eley was rather happy to see Aang as well. Something about their time together when influenced by Kipinn had invigorated him. Eley had to wonder if the Luceti spirit was trying to show him what 'fun' really meant...

He didn't expect that much attention to his model either so he's naturally pleased to see people showing an interest.]

Yes... at least it is a rough interpretation from the sky. These are the four kingdoms of Aether, the world I am responsible for.

Wow! That's a really neat name. And four kingdoms - like the four nations in my world! So you live up in the sky?

Ah, interesting, your world also has four major powers? I would like to find out more about that and how they relate to one another.

[Maybe there would be more parallels between them and the kingdoms of his own world.]

I spend much of my time with the Agkelons now. [He points to the white mass at the center.] While it was not always airborne, the kingdom of Agkelos now sits in the sky. I... prefer it up there.

A sky kingdom? I can't blame you! That sounds like a place I'd love.

And... yeah. They're not exactly all around anymore, though. There's the Water Tribes. They're divided into two tribes that live in the north and south, where it's super cold. The Earth Kingdom has the biggest continent and lots of different cities and rulers. The Fire Nation is a powerful place we used to have a war with. And where I'm from... the air nomads didn't exactly have a formal nation, but we lived freely in mountains, with four air temples in different parts of the world.

I am sure you would. I do not often let outsiders into Agkelos but... if I had the option, I might be willing to allow a few from here into the kingdom. I already sense they would mean no harm.

Your nations are divided by elements then? There are many Spirits in my world, each of which may be attributed to such elements. However our worshippers are not confined to any one continent. Then again, interest in our kind has been dwindling for some time now.

[He points to the large continent arcing the top-left corner of the map.]

Bravura in particular seems to be treading towards the path of war.

That's really nice of you. It's good that there's lots of nice people around, too!

[But he peers curiously towards the location indicated.]

Bravura? That's no good. Why are they going to war?

[He nods, though he has to add.] I am not sure how the Agkelons themselves would react to it, but they would not hurt them at least. They are not used to seeing people from elsewhere. They find it hard to trust them.

As for Bravura... I cannot say. It seems the Emperor is not of particularly sound mind. He fears others so he seeks to conquer and wipe them out before they reach him first. He is afraid of death and there are many who would hunt him down for the things he has done to his people.
