What: The Cultural Fair
When: June 5th- 12th - admittedly dates are sort of nebulous - set up could have begun as early as the 5th, but given the event recently, more days could have been taken to do it and for people to involve themselves, so it probably "officially" starts a little later (by the 8th at the very least, though work can go on throughout it) - feel free to use your judgement/have fun!
Where: All around the town square!

Notes: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier.

Work probably started for it on the 5th-7/8th for labor purposes, though feel free to use dates to your advantage here! (Even if characters slapdash something at the last minute, it would be fun to see! It would even be encouraged after the crazy from the last event - kind of a way to get back in touch with themselves.)

CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth. (Helios and Ikki made posts in regard to it and there have been art club posters around, so anyone could have noticed those as well!)

I'll leave descriptions up to you all as there isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about their presentations and how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. Just keep in mind that this takes place in the plaza, there shouldn't be an issue with blocking traffic (there may be ropes up to try and keep pathways clear, however!), though it may branch around various points of the square depending on where someone wants a booth located / the number of actual participants. The square will also have a lot of brightly colored signs and decorations indicating what is going on!

[ Luminair will give Prim another high pitch chirp before tugging once more on her stocking for her to come closer. Helios meanwhile will be getting out of his chair behind his booth and chiding the small dragon, who is no bigger than a cat now, with a huff and a shake of his head. ]

Luminair, honestly, bringing everyone over is going to over work you dear. I-I'm deeply sorry if he startled you. Luminair is a bit excitable when it comes to meeting new people. [ Though the fluffier dragon standing behind Helios is a bit more guarded and letting out a faint hiss noise. It's only until Helios calms Maggir that she lets out a huff and goes back to the the table. ]

[ She's not about to turn down a dragon, although Prim's never seen a dragon before - not until coming to Luceti, and reading fairy tales, and meeting the residents. It's easier to smile at the man than it is to stop staring at the little dragon, no bigger than Buttercup. How could such a creature exist? ]

It's perfectly all right. [ Actually - he was probably a baby, wasn't he? So small, and dragons in storybooks were so big. And Prim couldn't help but forgive animals, and she especially couldn't help but forgive baby animals. ] He's not very old, is he?

[ ...She thinks, anyway. ]

[ Luminair chirps happily, tail wagging and all, as his eyes shift from blue to bright green to a rich deep purple. He is enjoying meeting all these new people and is just happy to get pets and scritches from time to time. ]

That's correct. He's only about a year and a half old, actually. Still very young in dragon years, but don't let his youth fool you. He's a bit of a trickster every now and then.

[ ...The eye color shifting is completely enchanting, and distracts Prim from answering for a moment. Good gosh. ]

A trickster? What sort of pranks should I be looking out for?

[folklorist]

He has the perchance of stealing...shiny things and-and other items laying about on the ground. But dragons to have that sort of hoarding nature about them, regardless of the species. [ Luminair will chirp in agreement as he nudges Prim's leg with his snout. ]

I think he likes you. He's been very affectionate all day.

[prims]

I don't really have anything shiny to steal, I don't think. [ She doesn't own much. And at the nudge she'll reach down to cautiously rub behind his ears, going off of instinct and experience with animals. Caution always pays off. ]

Because of all the new people?
