When: June 5th- 12th - admittedly dates are sort of nebulous - set up could have begun as early as the 5th, but given the event recently, more days could have been taken to do it and for people to involve themselves, so it probably "officially" starts a little later (by the 8th at the very least, though work can go on throughout it) - feel free to use your judgement/have fun!

Notes: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier.

Work probably started for it on the 5th-7/8th for labor purposes, though feel free to use dates to your advantage here! (Even if characters slapdash something at the last minute, it would be fun to see! It would even be encouraged after the crazy from the last event - kind of a way to get back in touch with themselves.)

CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth. (Helios and Ikki made posts in regard to it and there have been art club posters around, so anyone could have noticed those as well!)

I'll leave descriptions up to you all as there isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about their presentations and how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. Just keep in mind that this takes place in the plaza, there shouldn't be an issue with blocking traffic (there may be ropes up to try and keep pathways clear, however!), though it may branch around various points of the square depending on where someone wants a booth located / the number of actual participants. The square will also have a lot of brightly colored signs and decorations indicating what is going on!

For ideas/reference on how it was handled last time, feel free to look through here! There's no official signup, so go forth!

No, my vision is perfectly fine, thank you. Is there...is there some reason why you thought I was visually impaired?

[Erm...]

Ah. It's just...your eyes. They're blank and white. I've only ever seen people like that when they're blind.

M-my eyes? [Hinata frowns before smiling at the other girl.] I come from a clan where everyone has these eyes. It is...a bloodline trait. They are highly prized in my world.

I see. [She doesn't really notice the pun there, she's sort of too fascinated.]

Back home, someone with eyes covered in white would mean their vision was clouded by a cataract or deformity...it almost always means they're blind.

[Hinata is forced to think about the shinobi and villagers of Konoha that she's met.]

I...I do not believe that I actually know anyone who is blind, to be honest. That is too much of a liability in a village of ninja.

There were a few people in Republic City. They didn't all have eyes like that, but...

[She smiles faintly and shrugs.]

If you can see, I suppose it hardly matters!

[Hinata returns her smile briefly.]

Please, do not feel bad about it. I suppose now that I understand why you asked, it makes perfect sense for you to think that I was blind. Although, I would not suggest making that assumption around my cousin.

[She looked towards the Avatar booth and bit back a sigh. She still wasn't sure how to approach Aang and it probably showed on her face.]

...There's someone else with eyes like yours?

[Her gaze follows the other girl's, and she raises an eyebrow.]

What's wrong? I can pretty much promise you everyone over at that booth doesn't bite.

Yes, my older cousin is here. He has been here for a while if I understand things correctly.

[When Asami brings up the way that she's avoiding the booth, Hinata's cheeks heat up.]

A-ah, that...that is not my concern.

[Asami glances over at the booth again, then back at the other girl.]

...Then what's up?

[Hinata's face has forgone pale for full-fledged red.]

You think Aang is going to be mad at you?

He...he would be within his rights to be very angry with me. I was unnecessarily cruel to him when he attempted to be nice to me.

I'm pretty sure he's not the type to hold a grudge, but...

What did you do?

I-I do not wish to repeat the things that I said. They were very unlike me and I do not know why I said them. He just angered me irrationally for just...being there and insisting that I knew him previously. It was...disturbing now that I look back on it.

Oh...were you here before? Some other you that you don't remember? [Asami could totally feel that.]

I'm pretty sure he won't be upset if you explain that to him though.

Yes, he understands now that I do not remember him. At least...I hope he does? I am just embarrassed at how I behaved. It was beneath me.

It couldn't have been that bad. What did you do?

[The girl hardly seems offensive...]

I told him that because I did not remember him that I found his attempts to be my friend creepy and obnoxious. [How she managed to say that without stuttering or stalling, Hinata didn't know, but it was just as unpleasant saying it again as it had been when she could think about the young man without feeling irrationally angry towards him.]

[Asami blinks slowly at that.]

...Wow. That's uh...

That's pretty harsh.

I...I...I do not know what made me think that telling him that was acceptable. I have never said that to anyone before now. The only thing that I can think of was that it was during the time when my wings grew and changed colors.

[She thought about it for a moment.]

Aang-san's wings were also abnormally large during that time and a different color.

Hmm.

[Well that could explain it...]

Maybe the two spirits you were inhabited with didn't get along.

[She knew about that all to well...albeit from the spirits getting along too much. MUCH too much.]

[She thought about it a bit.] Perhaps that is so. I was behaving differently than I normally would have at the time. Hm.
