What: The Cultural Fair
When: June 5th- 12th - admittedly dates are sort of nebulous - set up could have begun as early as the 5th, but given the event recently, more days could have been taken to do it and for people to involve themselves, so it probably "officially" starts a little later (by the 8th at the very least, though work can go on throughout it) - feel free to use your judgement/have fun!

Notes: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier.

Work probably started for it on the 5th-7/8th for labor purposes, though feel free to use dates to your advantage here! (Even if characters slapdash something at the last minute, it would be fun to see! It would even be encouraged after the crazy from the last event - kind of a way to get back in touch with themselves.)

CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth. (Helios and Ikki made posts in regard to it and there have been art club posters around, so anyone could have noticed those as well!)

I'll leave descriptions up to you all as there isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about their presentations and how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. Just keep in mind that this takes place in the plaza, there shouldn't be an issue with blocking traffic (there may be ropes up to try and keep pathways clear, however!), though it may branch around various points of the square depending on where someone wants a booth located / the number of actual participants. The square will also have a lot of brightly colored signs and decorations indicating what is going on!

...it is a bit of a jump in subject, but relevant, considering- [She gestures to his sketches.] And solace. Do you think you could look over the sketch for a painting? I've been picking at it for months- since I was shifted into my younger self and she began it and...I'd like an educated eye for it. Whenever you've the time.

Yes, of course. I don't mind at all. I don't know how educated my eyes could be considered, since I didn't finish school, but I'd love to help if I can.

You actually made it into a school for the arts. I never did. I'm certain your eyes will be more than sufficient.

If you say so. After I get all of this wrapped up I should be free. [He motions at the booth.]

Take your time. The sketch will not be going anywhere.

Alright. How about this evening? Gives me time to pack everything away and grab something to eat. I can be by your place around 5?

I'll have some coffee and dinner ready by then. Anything in particular you are in the mood for?

[He smiles and shakes his head.] No preference. Whatever you feel like having is fine.

Tonight is pasta night, I think. So it will likely be some manner of pasta with chicken or beef.

Tonight, then. Good luck with returning your sketches to their proper glory.

I'll be there. [He chuckles.] Yeah, I guess this means I have to go have a chat with Loki...[Great.]

...try telling him how very pretty he is. It might make him more agreeable.

[He bites his lip.] Probably shouldn't mention the beards, either. It might turn out he's suffering from serious beard envy and that's what all of that is about. [He gestures towards Loki's booth.]

[fleurdesel]

[Her lips twitch a bit at that, eyes sliding over to Loki's booth.]

...perhaps a mighty sketch of a regal king with the beard he so greatly desires might be a proper peace offering.

[This might come back to bite her later. She doesn't care.]

[His eyes widen in comical shock.] Why Ms. LeBlanc...! [He grins suddenly.] I like the way you think.

[The smirk he receives in response is all innocence. Really.] Turnabout is fair play, Captain.

Yes it is. I think I might try the normal, civil approach first though. It probably won't work, but at least you can't say I didn't try.

You are a far more patient person than I, Steve. I wish you the best of luck.

[And if he does create that sketch, well. She'll want a copy. Adele reaches over to pat Steve's hand before she turns to go, feeling a great deal lighter than she had when she arrived.]
