What: The Cultural Fair
When: June 5th- 12th - admittedly dates are sort of nebulous - set up could have begun as early as the 5th, but given the event recently, more days could have been taken to do it and for people to involve themselves, so it probably "officially" starts a little later (by the 8th at the very least, though work can go on throughout it) - feel free to use your judgement/have fun!
Where: All around the town square!

Notes: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier.

Work probably started for it on the 5th-7/8th for labor purposes, though feel free to use dates to your advantage here! (Even if characters slapdash something at the last minute, it would be fun to see! It would even be encouraged after the crazy from the last event - kind of a way to get back in touch with themselves.)

CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth. (Helios and Ikki made posts in regard to it and there have been art club posters around, so anyone could have noticed those as well!)

I'll leave descriptions up to you all as there isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about their presentations and how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. Just keep in mind that this takes place in the plaza, there shouldn't be an issue with blocking traffic (there may be ropes up to try and keep pathways clear, however!), though it may branch around various points of the square depending on where someone wants a booth located / the number of actual participants. The square will also have a lot of brightly colored signs and decorations indicating what is going on!

[speaking of Celestia however]

Mentor in...what exactly? Magic? Politics?

Magic, and friendship. I'm not exactly built for politics. [ They move on towards the giant flying bison. ] She took me on as her student when I was a filly.

[ Twilight stops when they're a couple of feet from Appa's side. ] Appa's right in front of you if you reach out.

Oh? Unfortunately you may have to learn. Politics comes hand in hand with many things... Even pirates are not completely out of their reach. [She does reach out though and bury her hands in that soft warm fur. He grunts and shifts and she smiles. It would be nice to climb on him and go for a ride. Alas, there would be nothing to see]

Well, now that I'm a princess, I might have to deal with foreign nations when I get home. Not that I'd mind - I'm sure they're very interesting!

[ She looks up at Robin and smiles at her friend. It's nice to see Robin out of the house and enjoying herself. ] He's really fuzzy, isn't he?

It's a pity Vivi-san returned home. She was a princess, too. [Robin enjoys the fur a moment longer before leaning against the sturdy beast. It doesn't have the same appeal as feathers, she has to admit]

A good one. [no matter what history may say about her, and who knows in what light she would be painted? Luffy had believed in her and that was the only thing that mattered]

I would have loved to have heard some tips from her. [ She strokes Appa absentmindedly with a hoof. He feels like a creature Fluttershy would keep around. ] What was she like?

She's tough, spirited, and willing to do anything to save her country--even risking her life. [It was no wonder she'd become Luffy's nakama. Foolhardiness in pursuit of dreams or passion seemed to be a prerequisite] I wish we could have learned to understand one another better.

That sounds like exactly the sort of ruler a country needs. ... Did you two not get along?

We have...an interesting history. [and she'll leave it at that] But I'm sure her country is in wonderful hands.

[ Twilight is quiet. Sometimes there's so much about Robin that she doesn't know. But ultimately, it's her own business. ] Well, maybe some day you'll meet her again.

Perhaps. But perhaps sooner here than there. [she pushes away from Appa's furry hide, patting him gently] Shall we find some other entertainment, Twilight-chan?

I'm game if you are. Want to see- ah, feel some more animals? Or is it back to the library?
