Luceti Valley - The First Log

Summary: Luceti has become an idyllic and peaceful 50s-esque village. The first few days are just business as usual, right?

August 1st had seemed like an ordinary day in Luceti. But late in the evening, for those night owls who had not turned in yet, they were witness to strange fluctuations in the barrier. Beautiful, really, almost like Luceti had received its own 'Northern Lights', even though it seemed to come from the far east, across the ocean. This ominous light show lasted for all of fifteen minutes before it ceased all together. Skimming the ocean waters, a horde of cultists entered Luceti, cloaked by darkness. Upon reaching the entrance to the tunnels, their leader stepped inside and was followed one by one by his fellow cultists. When the last had entered, the tunnel entrance closed. Across the mountains, the entrance to the tunnels in the village did the same.

Midnight passed without incident, but by three in the morning, the change suddenly came. Minds were altered, forms were changed, and buildings sprang from nowhere.

Much later, on August 2nd, morning settled on a changed village, the new mayor made his way to his mansion with his pair of adorable dobermans at either side of him. The sun shined bright. It was a good day to be a Lucetian.

Note: There will be a stand alone log for the homecoming dance. There will be another log for the second stage of the event.

[Look he's opening his mouth though. Just one, okay? Then he would have eaten raw veggies for you look what a great caring son he is.]

[Her eyes brighten a little, smile widening, and she picks up a few lmao and puts them in his mouth (HER PLATE IS FULL OKAY)

[There's a muffled sound because his mouth is full of disgusting carrot, which he begrudgingly begins to start chewing.

Still chewing.

Still.... okay finally swapping that mouthful of veggies.]

Where's Dad anyway?

[Now that's she's gotten him to eat a few, she's not so pushing with her plate of carrots but uh. What does she do with them? Oh well, she'll pluck one of her own and start chewing.

Around her mouthful;]

I don't know. He was watching me cook for a while and then I went to give you your food.

[He shouldn't be HARD TO SPOT he's a tall guy with spikey blond hair]

Don't want anymore carrots, huh?

I'll go find him in a bit and say hi, maybe he's inside.

[Yeah he's looking.. doesn't see him, though.]

...No, you can keep them, thanks.

[HE HAD A FEW SO SHE'LL LET THAT SLIDE]

Knowing him, he probably is wandering around somewhere. I should look for him too.

Oh.. Let's go look for him together, then?

Sure. Maybe he'll eat my carrots while we're at it.

Good for him. [GONNA GO FIND DAD THEN I GUESS.]

She scowls a bit, confused at his ATTITUDE]

Why do you hate them so much?

Hate what? Carrots? I don't hate them, they just taste horrid.

[He can't find Dad either where is he, is he a ninja or something?]

That's exaggerating it. They're healthy, they're good for you. [Hopefully 1010 is teaching Ikki that.]

Why don't you try mushrooms?

...You're grilling mushrooms? Seems kinda weird, for a barbeque.

I'm not saying it's bad! Just.. grilling makes me think of just sausages. And other meats y'know?

That's just because you don't like vegetables, ya know!

Yeah, but I still try to eat them at least some of the time. [Mostly to keep a nagging mother and wife at bay.]

I'll have some mushrooms, if you've got some.

[fervidity]

[He DID finally eat some carrots. She's a bit surprised though, he's so ready to eat mushrooms.

Her temper settles and she looks down at her plate of carrots.

sob no mushrooms.]

Um, not right now I don't.

[But there's some by the grill.

A pause.]

Stay right here, okay?

[OFF SHE GOES TO GET MUSHROOMS]

Sure. You don't want me to just follow you?

[If she wants him to stay here though, he will.]

[fervidity]

[She calls over her shoulder;]

No! Stay there!

[She doesn't want him SNEAKING OFF but she quickly piles some mushrooms on her carrot plate and walks back, with a fork this time too so she's not shoving veggies in his mouth with her bare hands. Then she stabs one and offers the fork to him.]

Here. [She also brought you another hot dog just for eating some veggies.]

[Here's Minato who went off to supervise some grilling DON'T MIND HIM. He's just going to waltz in during the most opportune of moments where his family's eating veggies.]

Oh, what are you guys eating?

Kushina turns with her mouth full of mushroom, cheeks puffing out

chew...s and then offers her plate full of grilled carrots and mushrooms

[His speech slightly muffled from the mouthful of- are those mushrooms he is eating?]
