Summary: Well. So sometimes the Malnosso actually do legitimate experiments that aren't heaped in heavy plot. This is one of those times. Look, just go read the mod post, would you?

Oh, there's someone who does groceries? Who's that? [He releases the pole with a scratch at his head.]

[ The only answer here is "you had it this week", so Ikki frowns. ]

...Do you know who I am?

S-sorry. [He says meekly.] Have we... met?

[breezing]

[ HOLD ON, she is going down a checklist. ]

Do you know where we are, at least? And yeah, but it's fine. I'm Ikki. We're kinda related. But you don't need to worry about that, I guess. Um, do you know anyone else in the house? Hey, how old are you? I'm eight.

We're somewhere! I haven't seen anyone I know, and I'm 12. It's nice to meet you, Ikki! But you're an air nomad too, right? So of course we're related! My name's Aang. I really like your name and it's nice to meet you.

[He gives a bow of greeting, with a welcoming smile.]

[breezing]

[ ...SHE DEBATES GIVING THE NEW FEATHER SPEECH IN FULL, but decides that would be silly when he'll likely remember everything later. Is everyone else weird, too?

Either way, she bows back on automatic. ...After standing up. ]

Yeah, 'course I am! But I'm water tribe, too. Um, don't hurt your wings, okay? Ever ever ever. And c'mon, you can help me make pancakes. I'm not allowed to use the oven on my own, but you are.

[ That should do for an explanation RIGHT. She will just grab his arm and start hauling him out the door, then. ]

Soren, c'mon, we're getting breakfast!

[He chuckles. What does it even mean to be water tribe, too? He doesn't dwell on it, so he just lets her tug him along cheerily.]

You're a silly one! I'll be glad to help. And don't worry, I take great care of my wings! [Or at least he's sure that he must, as he's assuming all air nomads have had wings and he's just never noticed them before.]

[breezing]

Okay, good! Also I guess this means I'm doing all the animal chores this week. Or however long. ...I wonder what other chores I got, too.

Anyway, that was my room but you're allowed in there when you want. That's Korra's room, that's Toph's room - you shouldn't go in either of them. And that's Katara's room. Don't go in that one either. I mean, unless any of them let you in. But basically I guess just don't go in other people's rooms. Although Korra's not here right now, but I guess she could come home soon and we're still not supposed to snoop 'cause she'd get angry if we did. That's the bathroom, but there's one upstairs you should usually use instead if it's for like morning getting ready stuff since this is the girls' floor.

And here is the kitchen!

I've heard of boys and girls having different temples but not different floors! This is really neat. But don't worry, I won't go into anyone's rooms.

[And then he takes in the kitchen.]

[ Since he's not going to know where anything is, Ikki drops Aang's hand, and goes about getting things out. She seems to know where everything is, and pulls out dishes as well. All the works. ]

I've heard of that too. I normally live with my family though. Even here.

[He just watches her go. Wow, she's really good at finding things.]

You mean with other airbenders? That makes sense. Me too! By the way, you haven't seen any monks who were... looking for me, have you? [He looks around a little nervously. If she lived with other nomads, some of them could be trying to find him and make him be the Avatar again.]

[breezing]

No, there's only me and you around here.

[ Ikki uses an airbending boost to get up to a top cabinet, and soon has everything she wants out. ...Including stuff she knows Aang will probably want on his pancakes. ]

From the air nomads I mean.

[Aang eventually steps forward and helps gather some of the items together, smiling at some of the ingredients being assembled.]

Okay. I have to stay hidden for now, so that's good. Which temple are you from?

[breezing]

Air Temple Island!

Air Temple... Island? I didn't know there was an air temple on an island...

[breezing]

It's a really pretty one! Girls AND boys can live there.

Wow, really? I don't remember ever hearing about that one from any of the monks before, or even being there. You'll have to show me someday! Just... not soon.

[breezing]

I don't mind doing that!! I can't now, anyway, though. It's not near here.

Oh. Where exactly are we, anyway? I thought I wasn't that far from the Southern Air Temple...

[breezing]

Luceti! It's pretty far away from anywhere, but it's not a bad place. We have a pool, if you wanted to go swimming!

Really? I never heard of it, but that's good to know! I definitely wanna go swimming!

[breezing]

Me too!! I can take you to it whenever you wanna go. My Uncle got the pool and stuff.

We can do that right after you eat. Your uncle must be really neat. Is he one of the elders?

[breezing]

Ummm, he's pretty old, but I think right now he's not as old. Probably.

[savedtheworld]

[He looks at her, blinks and laughs as he does whatever else setting up has to be done for breakfast.]
