Summary: Well. So sometimes the Malnosso actually do legitimate experiments that aren't heaped in heavy plot. This is one of those times. Look, just go read the mod post, would you?

[Something strange has been going around this stupid place - hat's easy enough to tell. Perona's been keeping mainly to herself and trying to figure a few things out here and there on the little book - reading and rereading the guide and other voice posts here and there, trying especially to locate anything that her other self may have left behind that'd be useful to her now. Perona's doing just that, carrying some lunch from the bakery (a toasted panini with all her favorite things inside) home. She doesn't want to be out when everyone's raving mad for too long.

But of course fate would have it that she's out just as Aang's zipping by on his air scooter. The blast of speed knocks up her gown and as she holds it down with a loud shriek, her poot hat goes tumbling through the air. MOTHER FUVKBFHKD--SOMEONE'S GOING TO LOSE THEIR HEAD.]

Aang hears the shriek and just laughs at it. As long as she's not hurt, it's all in good fun. He keeps scooting along but stays in her vicinity.]

GORE.

[Wait, isn't that the kid that helped her find Bearsy? Ugh, and she actually thought he was different from the useless brats that crawled like dirty grubs all over the different Blues and the Grand Line itself. Nasty little parasites...she should have known they were all alike.]

ANNOYING BOY! Don't you dare make fun of me! Negative Hollow!

[She doesn't owe him a thing, not anymore. Nothing but a bit of justified punishment. Holding out a hand, two of Perona's hollows emerge from it and make a speedy beeline for the little whelp.]

[Of course, it's easy to miss that he's notably shorter now while he's mostly mobile. His laughter turns into a shocked cry as he notices the approaching ghosts.]

Whoa!

[He tries to speed along on the air scooter, but they'll soon get him.]

I DIDN'T EXPECT ONE LIKE THAT.

[Those hollows are just as speedy as a youngster on an air scooter, and twice as determined once they've been sent out on the attack. Plus, those ghosts aren't hindered by solid objects at all - passing right through them without a care - whereas Aang may have to zig and zag. It doesn't take those ghosts very long at all to finally corner him - and when they do...well, Aang can kiss his good spirits goodbye for the next minute or so.]

Hmph, serves you right.

[The air scooter dies down as it hits him, and he slumps down to the ground.]

I'm sorry...

[Her scowl slowly turns into a triumphant little smirk, and she lifts her head up as she walks over as she continues to smooth out her hair. Gosh, it looks just terrible now, the little brat!]

You should be. What you did was terrible and you're lucky I only used one hollow on you! [...Huh. Something seems different about the boy. Kind of.]

I... I guess you're right. [He frowns as he's on his knees.] I ran away from my people, when they wanted me to help the world. I... I just didn't want to be the Avatar.

[Oh lord, here comes the dramatic sob story. With a roll of her eyes, Perona pretends to be listening, combing her fingers through her hair to fix up her long curls. Her little bun in the back will have to be redone too, otherwise her hat will never sit right...]

Mmh... I see.

I just wanted to still be a kid. Stopping a war sounded too scary... and then they didn't want to let me near Monk Gyatso. Still... It's my fault. Whatever's happened, I deserve it.

[Perona doesn't so much as bat an eye. She finishes up smoothing down her hair. As she's typing back her bun, she sighs and turns to her hollow, which was still floating at her side and taking in the sights of its brethren wafting through the air every now and again, scouting the area around Luceti.]

Mmh...you may have overdone it. It should wear off soon, but I don't have time to listen to such boring, useless nonsense! I should have just left him to wallow here by himself - what a mistake, bleeh...
