Summary: Well. So sometimes the Malnosso actually do legitimate experiments that aren't heaped in heavy plot. This is one of those times. Look, just go read the mod post, would you?

[He gives a smug look for just a moment more, than he goes goofy.]

But no, if they're going outside then she can just escape whenever she wants to. So she goes along with it. ]

Yeah, we'll see about that. [ She starts heading for what she assumes to be the exit. A backdoor, maybe? ]

Yep! [He had been walking towards the front door, but he stops midstep noticing Toph going to what seemed to be the backdoor. With a quiet shrug, he went and walked alongside her.]

[ Stepping outside is a bit of a relief for her, getting her bare feet on some actual earth. It's also disconcerting; she's fairly sure she really has no idea where this place even is.

Still, she turns back to Aang. Maybe he can help, after he's done doing his... thing. ]

So? Show me what you've got.

[He takes a moment to breathe in the fresh air and claps his hands together.]

Sure! Take a look at this, Toph.

[He pops his staff into glider form and he quickly takes off, soaring in a circle above Toph.]

[ Woah! She wasn't sure what she should be expecting, but it certainly wasn't him just up and disappearing like that (as far as she could see, anyway!)

She turns in a circle, noticably not following the direction Aang is soaring above her. ]

Hey! Where'd you go!

I'm right above you, silly! Can't you see me? Want me to take you for a ride?

[ She crosses her arms impatiently, looking up and trying to follow the sound of his voice. ]

Uh, no, I can't! [ Does she have to spell it out for him! ] Get back down here where I can!

But I'm right here!

[He swoops down and lands besides her.]

[ The moment he's back on the ground, she whips around to face him. ]

There you are! [ ... ] What was that? [ Was he really flying! ]

[Well that was sudden. He gives a sheepish smile.]

That was airbending! I told you.

Yeah, well, how was I supposed to know? [ She crosses her arms. ] I've never seen anything like it. [ ... Literally. ]

Well now you have! So, let's go flying!

Uh, how about we don't. I'd like to stay where I can actually see where I am. [ She starts to turn away. ] Thanks but no thanks, Twinkletoes.

Oh... Okay. If you say so! But then how are we gonna get you back home?

The old-fashioned way? Hey, if we were meant to fly, we'd have wings.

But... You do have wings! I'm surprised you're not an airbender, too...

Oh, sure. Because earthbenders are made to fly, right? [ If she knew how, she'd be rolling her eyes!! ]
