Summary: Well. So sometimes the Malnosso actually do legitimate experiments that aren't heaped in heavy plot. This is one of those times. Look, just go read the mod post, would you?

Well, it's not a terrible thing to stick to the payment rule, either.

[Still. The toys aren't compelling for being toys, really, but for being something kind of normal in a place that was so very much not. A wooden toy airplane has his particular attention.]

How can you have a village without government? Even Misthallery's got a mayor.

I'm sure there's something running it if they've got these stores constantly stocked. But there is not sign that it's a government -- it could be more... privately owned, possibly.

I guess. They don't care very much about other people stealing then.

I doubt they do. [He crosses his arms thoughtfully.] It's probably set up in a way that no matter what we do, it won't be of financial damage to them.
