Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

"Not often," Ami said, shaking her head, "It was a special treat." More than once, it had been a reward for her good grades, but mostly it was just a celebration of those times they were all able to be together.

"Sounds like something you and your mother enjoyed a lot then, to have you this excitable." Almost hyper, even!

Ami nodded an affirmative. But it wasn't just that, it wasn't even just her and her mother, it was someone else being there, too. "Papa, too," she admitted.

She knows, of course, that she can't turn back time to her childhood or that intact family. But it's certainly nostalgic to think about them.

"Sounds nice," he replies with a gentle squeeze of her hand. "I'm glad you're enjoying this place. It's certainly a new experience for me personally, but I'm optimistic. Doesn't seem like anything insane is going to happen."

"Maybe not, this time," Ami agrees, but only with that qualifying maybe. Even in front of something she obviously likes very much, she can't entirely let go of her feelings towards the Malnosso.

It would take a lot more than this. It would take going home. Or at least far, far more cooperation.

"But if it's new to you, is there something you want to do first?"

"Well, that love tunnel thing seemed like it could be fun. If you're interested..."

Eh? [There's a little flicker of surprise, then an even larger smile as Ami admits:] I've never been on that type of ride before.

Well, let's experience something new together, then.

[And into line they go!]

[Ami covers a small laugh with her hand. And at first, it's enough just to be with Luke, and she's in no hurry even with the long line. But after awhile, while she still waits politely, she can't help casting just a few surreptitious looks towards the front of the line to try to judge how long it will be. She makes a quick estimate of the people, considers how many pairs are allowed to start at once...]

Luke, have you noticed? [It's when she realizes something more important.] I think there are people here who aren't from Luceti.

[Luke's patient as well, but he can feel Ami growing a bit wary. He looks around and nods.]

There are. I...think I see Lieutenant Davlin, from Kin'cora actually.

[He nods over to another line at a tall man with a military bearing standing with a young twi'lek woman. The leader of a small Imperial group stuck in the other enclosure.]

Why do you think they've brought us all here, at the same time, together? [The enclosures don't tend to mix well always, even if they've cooperated at times. The Malnosso surely know this. So what are they trying to accomplish?]

Truth be told? I think they wanted us out of the enclosures. Those glitches are troublesome.

We might return to find things different than when we left again. [One would hope the glitches would be under control, but also it's going to be easiest to do anything else while no one is there.]

We might. That could really shake things up.

[It's only going to be more suspicious once she notices she's suddenly afraid of certain things... right as Luceti has been confronted by a so-called therapist. It really has dark plot written all over it, if you judge by the Dark Kingdom's schemes.]

I wonder what they're trying to do. We might be able to make a chance for ourselves, while they have to oversee so much at once.

We might...though I wouldn't count on it. They'll be watching us closely after the bomb incident.

That's true. We might still not be able to get ahead of them.

But this is the best chance we've had in awhile. [If they knew how to seize it, and had more time.]

True enough. But honestly? At least this is better than last year, wouldn't you say?

It's bigger, with more to do and more people. [That's not necessarily 'better', and not just because of the longer lines and wait times. It also means more ways the Malnosso could be targeting them, or some of them.]

[He'd meant last Halloween, but that's good. This is a better topic.]

Luceti Land was really odd, frankly. But yeah. There are a lot more people here...

[To her, the cycle of the Malnosso doing terrible things to them then throwing more pleasant things at them to pretend to be benign or beneficent is outright insulting. And it's predictable enough that she hadn't been thinking about last Halloween at all, just like she's guarded here.]

I think we should try to talk with some of them.

Alright, yes. Maybe to see how things went in their enclosures?

Mm. If everywhere is in upheaval right now like this, the Malnosso must be very busy, too. [And she didn't live through her world's events without knowing that distracted tormentors means chances for the prisoners.] We might be able to work together.

Well, did you see Haruhi's thoughts? About inter-enclosure cooperation?

[He generally ignores the girl but this time she'd had a good idea.]

[Ami doesn't know Haruhi very well, either, and she has to admit she hadn't caught it.]

No. Was she thinking of trying something?

[Note to self: contact Haruhi once they return to Luceti.]
