Where: The Happiest Place on the Moon, Malnosso World!
Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

[Isamu didn't actually have anything else in mind, but he's sure there are much more exciting rides to be on.]

[Really, Isamu ought to know better than to just leave things up to Richard's discretion by now...]

[He really should.]

'Anything else' isn't enough? How about something on a grander scale.

[ledbythewind]

[Richard looks around for a moment before he spots one ride with an incredibly long line. A long line means that it must be fun enough to make it extra-popular, or so his thinking goes.]

How about that one?

[And he points right to the Orbiter.]

[Is that line all for one ride? Good god, Richard. They'll be there all day.]

Are you serious?

[Sigh.]

[He knew you'd see things his way, Isamu.]

I doubt it would have a line that long if it weren't worth the wait. Don't you think we should at least try it once while we're here?

It could have a long line because the ride takes too long.

[But he goes along anyway. It's still something new.]

If that were the case, I would think word would get out. I can't imagine anyone would want to stand in a line that long for a ride that wasn't ultimately worth their time.

[He would be going whether he wanted to or not, given the firm grip Richard has on his arm.]

... I guess they don't give kings free access to the front of the line here, huh.

It couldn't hurt to give it a try.

[Looking around, and... aha, there's one of the line attendants. An attractive young lady line attendant, no less. Perfect for trying to charm.]

Let's go ask her.

... Dude, I was kidding. There's no way that's gonna work.

[Gripping Richard's arm.]

There's probably a few kings in line already.

You never know until you try. Or would you rather stand in that line instead?

[This looks like it may be a situation that calls for Richard's most charming smile, directed right at Isamu.]

I might choose the line over potential embarrassment.

And yet you choose to continue spending time with me.

Right? I don't even know what's going through my head sometimes.

Then I'm sure you won't mind if we go talk to that attendant over there.

[Victory is his. Or will be, since he's tugging on Isamu's arm as he starts walking over towards the girl.]

Who knows, we might be able to get ourselves a better place in line. The worst that could happen is that she'll tell us to go get in the line like everyone else.

[Ugh why.]

Or we get kicked out of the park...

[Buuut being dragged along as usual.]

[Did you say something, Isamu? Richard isn't listening. He's too busy putting on his best smile for when they walk up to that line attendant.]

Excuse me-- I know this is rather presumptuous of me, but my friend and I were wondering if there was somewhere we could go to inquire about the possibility of getting special passes for the rides.

[She turns around, looking for a moment as if she's going to tell them off for even asking... and then she gets a good look at the two of them and changes her mind. Instead, she's all smiles right back, asking them why they want special passes.]

I had thought there might be a special level of access allowed to those who held positions of status in their world. The two of us are royalty from the country of Windor.

[And he gives Isamu a slight nudge with his elbow to indicate that he should show her the ring.]

[Isamu looks like he would much rather be anywhere else, but he sighs and pulls out the ring he has on a cord around his neck.]

What he said.

[ledbythewind]

[The attendant is apologetic but polite as she explains that there are in fact no special passes for anyone other than members of the MSF.]

I see... then forgive me for wasting your time with this. We'll just go get in the line with everyone else.

[He smiles at her, then turns to leave... only to have her clear her throat quietly and mumble something about possibly being able to make an exception for them as long as they didn't say anything...]

You've gotta be shitting me...

[This is mumbled under Isamu's breath as he gives Richard a glance.]

[Oh, is that another gentle elbow that just found its way into Isamu's ribs? The look Richard gives him in return is both pleased and conspiratorial and a clear hint that he shouldn't say anything more for the moment.]

You're far too kind. You have my word that neither one of us will breathe a word of this to anyone else. Isn't that right, Isamu?

[musubi]

[Isamu just nods, afraid that he might say the wrong thing and ruin their chances.]

[ledbythewind]

[The young woman gives a few quick glances around as if trying to ascertain that no one else is watching before beckoning them towards a small side gate and ushering them through it, then shutting it behind them with instructions to just go out to the platform and wait there.

Richard gives her a wave and another nod of thanks.]

Thank you again.

[Then he turns to Isamu with a smile.]

You see? That wasn't any trouble at all.

That was ridiculous.

[He hisses that through his teeth, still not believing that had just happened.]
