Who: Everybody!
What: A field trip for the entirety of Luceti!
When: October 27th, until the end of November 2nd
Where: The Happiest Place on the Moon, Malnosso World!
Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

...oh! Yes, it's fine. I'm just having a little trouble finding one that would... fit.

[Sure, he's skinny, but he's not that skinny. His problem is clearly elsewhere.]

Why don't you go on ahead and I'll meet you inside?

Oh. If... you're sure.

[ He's not buying it, but he's not going to pry, either. ]

Just... give a shout if you need my help at all... okay?

[ /hesitantly goes in... ]

[Ion nods and waves as he heads in, but once he's gone, he goes off to the front counter to see if they have anything that might cover a bit more skin...]

[And thankfully, they do! Because not everyone comes from a world where anything less than full-body coverage in a swimsuit is okay. And even once he's gone into the locker room, he still ducks into one of the bathroom stalls to change. By the time he goes to find Kohan again, he'll be wearing something with considerably more coverage than a pair of swimming trunks. Though unfortunately, there's not much he can do about how tight it is... but he can deal with that, at least.]

Kohan?

[ Luckily Kohan was waiting right outside! In case Ion shouted. Because he's a caring boyfriend okay. ]

Hey, how're you... [ doing. But what are you wearing. Is that even a swimsuit. ] ... uh.

...is something the matter?

[Sorry Kohan, Ion comes from the land of JRPGs and costume titles -- he sees absolutely nothing wrong with what he's wearing.]

I didn't mean to take so long, but it took me awhile to find one I liked.

[ Kohan's from the land of "different worlds get different costumes but we're still in the same world now" ]

That's... a bathing suit?

Oh, well... technically it is a swimsuit, though it's usually used by lifeguards or people performing sea-rescues.

[It also perfectly covers up the worst parts of his scar -- and it even hides the ones on his neck, too!]

...does it look weird?

... A little. I don't think you can really soak in that.

Oh, it should be fine. The material is the same as a regular swimsuit. It just covers a bit more is all.

[He's hardly going to just strip it off now that he's already wearing it okay. He grabs Kohan's hand.]

Why don't we go take a look at what they have?

... If you say so. Sure. What... do people actually do at spas?

[ Like he knows that they have pools and stuff but there's probably more than that to it considering you could just... go to a pool. ]

Well, if it's anything like the one in Keterburg, they would at least have hot baths to soak in and a sauna room. Though I've never spent much time in one myself, so I don't really know.

I... guess we're about to find out, huh...

[ Though at the moment he seems more interested in just looking around than trying anything. ]

[Ion is fine with that. Exploring was a better alternative to having Kohan insist he either stay in bed the rest of the day or just sit and relax.]

[There are signs leading to the pool and baths, a sign for a sauna, and a small directory for where to go for various other services, including things like massages and the like.]

Hmm, why don't we go take a look at the pool first?

Sounds good to me. How big do you think it is? It's probably not bigger than the one outside, right?

I can't imagine why it would be, seeing as the one outside has plenty of room already...

[Aand after following the signs to the room where the pool is located, they enter a fairly large area with all kinds of artificial scenery surrounding a decently sized pool, complete with a fountain and small waterfall running into the water. An artificial sky is being projected onto the walls to give the impression they're outdoors, and there are places to sit and relax as well as a station for pool-side service. Certainly far more luxurious than the one outside.]

Uh...

[ Yeah, just give Kohan a moment to take this all in. To say he wasn't expecting this would be an understatement; he's completely blown away by the sight. He looks around bewildered, as if trying to make sure he didn't suddenly fall asleep or anything like that. Pretty much everything else is forgotten as he takes in the sight. ]

... huh.

[ Okay, maybe he needs two moments. ]

[Kohan doesn't have to worry about his lack of words, because Ion is at about the same loss for them as he is. He knew the Malnosso were capable of great things, given how amazing the amusement park itself was, but this seemed to be even beyond that!]

[He takes a few steps closer to the edge of the water, crouching down to see it better -- even the inside of the pool seemed to be extravagantly decorated, with designs in the tiles made to look like the ocean floor. He turns back to look at Kohan over his shoulder, a smile on his face.]

...I've never seen anything like this before! I had no idea it would be like this here.

... Me either. I thought it'd just be... a small wading pool, or something like that.

[ He moves closer, and after a few seconds of staring, jumps straight in.

CANNONBALL okno. ]

--whoa, that's warmer than I thought it'd be.

[Kohan you really should have given some warning before doing that, because he was not at all expecting the water to splash back up at him while crouching down to look at it.]

[But really, crouching down at all was a mistake. As much as he's recovered since being ill, his leg muscles still seized up on occasion -- and combine that with being surprised by the sudden splash means he after a short wobble, he just kind of topples into the water.]

[...very graceful.]

[ Then I hope you don't mind your boyfriendo just rushing to the rescue and pulling you up... just in case something has actually gone terribly horribly wrong and it's all his fault. ]

Hey! You alright there, Ion?!

[Considering when he pulls up Ion, there's a small happy little smile on his face, Kohan doesn't have much to worry about. He doesn't really answer Kohan's question though, having not heard anything after he jumped in.]

...oh, the water is warmer than I thought it would be!

Yeah... it is.

[ There's the sound of relief in his voice, though. He worries about you bro okay. ]

What do you think? Soak for a while?

I think that sounds like a wonderful idea. Though seeing as we are in a pool... perhaps you could give me a short swimming lesson? You did say you would teach me after I became able to walk again, didn't you?

Oh... right. I did.

[ That felt like so long ago... ]

It can be pretty exhausting, though. Do you think you're up for that?

Oh, I'll be all right. If it gets to be too much, I promise I'll let you know this time.

[Since he didn't really do that when they were riding the roller coaster, huh?]

[So up until now, he was kinda-sorta still holding onto Kohan after he brought him up from under the water. But if Kohan's going to teach him, he'll need to back up a bit for room to swim, right!?]

[--as soon as he pushes back a few inches, he sinks right to the bottom like a rock.]
