[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

But, uh... sorry! I guess just because you're bossy, too. I mean! That you're also like a boss, but... you're not really bossy? ...I'm sorry!

[Did you just call her "bossy"? That's a bit hurtful!]

Uhh... Cranberry and vodka, I guess. [Her expression has fallen a little. She's never been called "bossy" before. ] ... Thanks.

[It was a slip! That he immediately rescinded.]

Sure! I'll, uh, I'll get right on it! On the double! [He looks around both ways and bamfs off for a moment, to get that for her. And something for him. He hadn't been sure about drinking, but if she was, than why not?]

[Wanda's with the Bad Guys(tm), so she's allowed to misbehave and drink. That, or she's European. Which you are too, Kurt, so indulge!

While he's away, she does her best to get back into the music, trying to forget about the name calling, dancing like flowing lava; beautiful, but somehow scary, and maybe best not to touch.]

[He'll indulge alright. He'll just feel guilty because he knows Ororo and the Professor wouldn't approve.

He mixes her drink as briskly as he can and then goes for his own. He thinks he should try for something a little more manly... so he puts a little extra vodka in his drink. And then he's stuck wondering, what's more manly than a cranberry?

He settles on 'pineapple'.

So soon, he's back in a bamf. And, he's ready to serve her, line and all, but.. she's dancing again. He'll just stare until noticed. She really is dynamic.]

[Pineapple is very manly, Kurt. It's covered in spikes and things-- that makes it manly, right? Totally.

It only takes her a moment or two to notice his return, gyrating her way around until he's back in view. ]

Oh--! [She was half expecting him not to come back. ] You're back. ... Thank you. [She reaches for the red drink, with a nervous, somehow apologetic smile.]

[Totes. He holds out the drink towards her a bit sheepishly.]

You're welcome! Enjoy? [And he quietly at sips his own drink. That is some alcohol alright.]

[Indeed it is! Delicious, red alcohol. ]

Thanks. I am, actually. [She's misunderstood his "Enjoy?".] ... So many people turning up... Dancing. ... I was half afraid I would be dancing alone, tonight.

You? No way! I'm surprised you don't have a line of boys waiting to dance!

[maximoff_girl]

What? No... I'm a terrible dance partner. ... I think Billy is the only one who's reserved a dance with me. [Missing the point: Wanda's favourite pass time.]

[Billy? If it weren't for knowing that Billy's with Teddy, he'd wonder if they were an item.]

I don't know about that. You seemed pretty great going solo, so I don't know see how being a partner would make you worse. Billy must be the only one who knows how it goes, then! [And he drinks some more.]

[maximoff_girl]

Yeah... I love dancing. [She accepts the complement with a bob of her head, taking another deep drink.] I get a little tangled up when I dance with other people, though. ... Back home, when I'd go to clubs, guys would try to dance with me and... It'd be like they were trying to hold me in place. I don't know. ... I think maybe Billy feels obligated to dance with me. Because-- y'know.

Know what? [He asks genuinely. And then he raises an eyebrow.] Oh, because your powers are kind of alike? I don't think that has to do with it. He knows people like us where he comes from, so I bet he just somehow knows already that you're slamming dancer! Whatever guys you danced with before must not have known what they were doing.

[maximoff_girl]

[Wanda arches her brows in return. ] ... Yeah. They were-- really grabby, too. Nice. ... Always bringing me things from the bar. [Seriously, Wanda, don't take drinks from strangers.] But-- waay too... touchy.

And-- not so much that our powers are alike. More because ... family obligation, or whatever.

[She finishes her drink. ] Thank you, again.

[He frowns at her description of the guys.]

Whoever they were, it sounds like they had to go! And you're definitely welcome.

[He takes a nice long sip of his... and then spits some out as it clicks what she said.]

Wait, did you say 'family'?

[maximoff_girl]

Yeah. [She blinks, spine straightening in surprise at his minor spit-take. ] ... And yeah, I did.

[Wait-- was Billy still playing this on the Down Low? Did people still not know?]

[He looks towards her, confused.]

I never knew that. [Does that mean that Billy's related to Magneto as well?] How... exactly?

[maximoff_girl]

[Billy is related to all the best people, Kurt. That's why he's so cool. ]

Uh... Well. He said that, in his time, I'm... kind of... his mother.

[She makes a very sheepish expression. It was a surprise to her, too, Kurt.]

[Kurt's eyes are widening even more than ever before. And he glances around quickly, as if trying to find a different Billy she could be referring to.]

Kind of... his mom? [The surprise starts to settle as he remembers something.] Oh... you mean, when he changed reality here? You... you were his mom then, right? So that's all that you're... talking about. [She can't actually be Billy's mom, right? She's his age!]

...Right?

[maximoff_girl]

Well-- No. I mean-- yes, I was then, too. But he told me that I am... uh, for real. Like--in the world where he came from. [She suddenly wishes she had another drink. Awkwarrrrrd.]

[wildbluevagner]

No way. [He gasps.] That's... Wanda, that can't be. You're a mom? [He runs a hand through his hair as he processes this.] To... Billy?

[And his drink is evaporating all too quickly into his mouth.]

[maximoff_girl]

Well. Billy and Tommy. ... It's kind of weird, since... here, we're the same age. [Plus: every other reason why it's so goddamn weird.] So... I sort of just think of them as "family."

[She fidgets a bit, awkwardly, Trying not to light up with hex aura.]

I know Billy was trying to... not tell people, for a while. I don't think it's a secret any more, though.

Right...

[He says blankly, as he rubs at his head.]

It sounds like the cat's definitely left the bag. Wait... Tommy, too? You don't mean the guy who looks like Pietro... [And has the same power. Why didn't he guess it sooner?]

[maximoff_girl]

Yeah. ... I actually thought he looked like my Father, before I found out his pow...ers.. [Sooo not the point, Wanda.]

Um. ... Strong genetics, I guess.

[wildbluevagner]

Your father. Oh yeah... right, him. [Talk about a mood killer.]

I guess so! Man... That really must be weird. [But he finds himself smiling.] But it must feel pretty good too... to find family in unexpected places.

[Like when he found Rogue.]
