[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

[She has to focus to get it all out again, at least clearly.]

Ah... That time, I heard it loud and clear! [He gives a salute with his free hand in recognition. And with his other hand, he keeps a hold on her while guiding her towards the exit, avoiding the sea of people.]

I shall commit it to my memory!

[Jean had been eyeing the door, feeling like it was about time he made his own exit, when he spots the familiar redhead stumbling alongside bushybrows over there. When he'd seen her not too long ago, she wasn't looking so hot, so honestly, he's not surprised to see that somebody decided she was done for the night. He slips off the bar stool and heads over to intercept the pair.]

Let me guess, she was making an idiot of herself. [See, Adela, this is how friendship works.]

I was no', arse... [Who said that anyway? Not that she cared, but maybe she did a little. It irritated her that someone was calling her an idiot.]

[He looks over towards the approaching Jean and shakes his head defensively.]

Ah... She is quite intelligent! But she seems to be very tired.

[There's a lot he could return Adela's comment with, but he'll be nice and let it go. Today has apparently been rough on her - he's not going to pick on her too.]

If by "tired" you mean drunk off her ass, then yeah, I'd have to agree with you. You helping her home?

[She slumps a bit, not able to find the words or the will to disagree. She knows she's drunk, and she has to look pretty pathetic. She doesn't care though, she wanted to do this to herself, so who's got the right to say anything about it?]

["Pretty" pathetic might be an understatement.]

Then I'm coming with you. I'm done here anyway. [He hooks a thumb toward the coat room.] Just let me grab my jacket.

[Give her a second, she's staring at Jean now. This guy's been talking, and he sounds familiar...]

[He pauses a moment, and then he nods.]

Very well! It could be good to travel in numbers, in case we are ambushed. Feel free to retrieve your jacket!

[He looks down at Adela. Did she seriously not realize who he was until now? Jeez...] Yeah, it's me. [He says with a sigh.]

[Give him a moment, and he'll return with his coat - not the uniform jacket, for once.]

Let's go. [He doesn't expect to be ambushed, but he doesn't necessarily have much faith in the judgment of a guy who worships Santa.]

Yosh! [He nods and starts for the exit while walking Adela along.]

This does indeed sound like a task of true friendship!

[...Shit, don't look at him like that while saying something like that. He covers up his reddening face by pushing ahead of them to open the door.]

I'm not gonna stay there, idiot! I'm just making sure you don't hurt yourself trying to make it there. [Since Lee's got Adela, Jean will hold the door for them.]

[Just this look, mostly because she doesn't get it.]

[Moving cheerily through the door! And wondering what's going on there.]

[He throws Lee a look that says, "You gotta be shitting me," as he lets go of the door and rejoins the pair.]

Because you're going straight to bed when you get there, that's why!

[She nods a bit, stumbling on her feet when she does. Oddly enough she doesn't feel cold, wasn't it a lot colder earlier? Well, it being less cold's nice.]

[Whoops! Lee shifts his weight a bit to help her recover form the stumble. And then he breathes in the night air.]

I see now! So you intend to put her to bed. [That makes sense!]

[wipesfaith]

What the-- No! She can put herself to bed! [...Right? But he's looking at her now and kinda starting to doubt that. What if they drop her off and she trips all over herself before she makes it halfway to her room?

...Oh god, he's never been in a girl's room before. What has he gotten himself into...]
