Rating: Varied. Anything frisky goes to appointments as per usual, chums.


Due to the size and variation of this event, it's probably best to have several logs for it to avoid one getting overcrowded and broken. Feel free to have your characters post their own entries, of course, if you'd prefer- you're more than welcome! This is for people who like to consolidate. Another log ought to be posted around the 16th for round 2.

[Luke considers her for a moment, more confused than irritated by her casual attitude and the nickname. He's never heard anyone call him that before, nor does he recognize her even a little. He can't imagine why she'd be laughing at a stranger, so that could only mean-]

I think you've mistaken me for someone else, miss.

[...Oh. Oh, this may be indeed a mistake. Norma's pretty sure there's something funny going on around Luceti, so this could be a form of mistaken identity. She's come to find there were a few people not acting quite like themselves recently...or have been altered by the Malnosso entirely. In fact, Norma's sure this guy isn't Aschat all - he didn't automatically give her a dirty look or sneer her way at the nickname.

Sheesh but if this isn't Asch, he's going to be hopping mad to find all that pretty red hair of his lopped off. Heck, even if it was Asch, just made bonkers by the Malnosso, Norma wouldn't want to be in his path come time this all blew over...and he looked in the mirror. Here's hoping the new 'do will wear off like everything else.]

...Could be. Your name isn't really Asch, is it?

[Something about that name bothers him; perhaps it's because it isn't the first time he's heard it this week, or because of how close it is in meaning to his own name. His brows furrow, but he keeps those thoughts to himself, instead just shaking his head.]

No, it isn't. My name is Luke. Luke fon Fabre.

Oh... [Right. Wasn't there another kid that looked identical to Asch, but with shorter hair and a much better personality? Norma's sure she saw that kid around in her youth a few time, and she probably met him once or twice around her Luceti, ten years into the future. It's just hard remembering people she hadn't nicknamed already...unless she did give that kid one and just forgot.]

Sorry about that. I guess you just look like someone I know. But you're way nicer than him, so I guess you are different. What're you doing out here, anyway? Lost?

Exploring, more than anything else. I woke up here several days ago, and I've been trying to get my bearings ever since. I'm sorry if I've disrupted your walk, that wasn't my intention.

[Whoa, okay, this guy is seriously not Asch. He's waaayyy too polite and nice. It's gotta be that other guy she doesn't know the name of. He said it was...Luke, right? Yeah. Maybe. But wow, doesn't she feel sheepish! Norma laughs, then shakes off his apology with a wave of her hand.]

Nah, you didn't! I was just taking a walk anyway...nothing to disrupt. But hey, there should be a map you can pick up at one of the Welcome Centers, if I remember right. That'd help a whole lot more exploring, right?

[Welcome Center... that sounds familiar, but it's not a place he's visited yet.]

I see... that sounds useful. Could you point me in the right direction, then? I'd be very glad to finally have a map.

Should be around that way, I think. [She indicates the direction by pointing.] If you get close to the village center, you're near it. Look for a big ol' wall that has a painted mural on it.

I might head that way myself soon, actually... [She wants to hit up the bar, and maybe even grab a bite at the restaurant or something.]

[Far be it for him to make demands of a stranger, but she seems friendly enough that she might not begrudge her following her route into town.]

Awww, no problem! [Wow, how in the world did she mistake this guy for Asch? He's so sweet. If he's not careful, she may hang off of him pretty soon... He's awfully adorable. How old is he anyway? Probably only a few years younger than her, maybe? Ten years? Eh, whatever, she'd still hang off of him either way.]

Luke pauses mid-step, then coughs delicately into a fist, cheeks reddening.]

That is... a most unseemly nickname for a prince.

[WAIT WHAT. Did he say prince? As in mountains of riches, and gald, and a castle, and servants, and living it up on high? That kind of prince??? *__*

Coming to a screeching halt, Norma ll but twirls on her heel, eyes shimmering with new light. She flourishes into a bow before snapping back into a straight position. Ohoho, he maybe young, not he's still in her range! And she's got the figure now to try and woo him...]

O-Oh~! My deepest apologies, your highness! I had nooo idea I was in the presence of rich--I-I mean, royalty!

[He blinks in surprise at her sudden about-face, eyes wide at her words and the flowery tone she'd taken. That totally sounds just like...

The memory stings a little and reminds him of how very alone he is here, but it also is too uncanny to dismiss. So once his astonishment sinks in, he lifts a fist to his mouth to try and muffle the sound as he starts to laugh.]
