Due to the size and variation of this event, it's probably best to have several logs for it to avoid one getting overcrowded and broken. Feel free to have your characters post their own entries, of course, if you'd prefer- you're more than welcome! This is for people who like to consolidate. Another log ought to be posted around the 16th for round 2.

[He almost asks if they're heroes- that makes a lot more sense instead of all the big words harness guy is using- but then he keeps talking about it and it makes less and less sense.]

Daddy's the best! He's got lots of grunts and big strong Pokemon. Everybody does what he says!

What is he, a gang leader or something? [He has no idea what a Pokemon is supposed to be, but he assumes Silver is just pronouncing something wrong.]

He's the strongest! [He's got no idea what a gang leader is, so the obvious solution is to answer a question that nobody asked.]

Anyway, what's a little kid like you doing here all by yourself? Dad too busy organizing crime to babysit properly?

[Hey mister daddy's a hero okay, why aren't you excited about daddy-]

I dunno where daddy went. [The fact that this should be alarming hasn't quite hit him yet. Dad will find him eventually, right?]

[...Aw, jeez...]

When's the last time you saw him? [...] And where was it?

[...Uhh.]

We went to play. [And then they found this place. That's his story, anyway. Weavile lets out a sigh- he couldn't explain things if he wanted to.]

Play where? [Come on, work with him, kid.]

Outside. [What do you mean where dude do you mean like in the forest or something should he say that-]

[wipesfaith]

[He is actually. Smacking his palm to his forehead.] Where? Here, or back wherever you're from?

Back home. [He just got lost in the forest. Harness guy's not making much sense...]

[Balls.]

Hate to break it to you, but I don't think you're gonna find him. [...It occurs to him that this might not be the best thing to tell a tiny baby child.] On your own, I mean. [Balls.]

I guess I can let you hang around with me until we do find him.

[Not... gonna find him?

...For a while. Okay. He... He has to be big and strong. Like daddy. That's all. If he can do that, then daddy's gonna come get him in no time.

He tries not too look too upset and squeezes Weavile's paw for moral support, but... He still doesn't look like he's taking that news too well.]

[wipesfaith]

[...Great. What is he supposed to do with a kid for the next who-knows-how-long?]

How about we go look around, alright? Your giant rat friend can come along too.

[Wh- hey!]

He's not a Rattata! He's a Weavile!

[wipesfaith]

[He's already walking. Keep up, kid.]

I don't see any shop owner around here, so I guess this is all free of charge. [Tugging at a jacket lapel and letting it go. He'd read that there was no money system in place here, but he'd also been naturally suspicious of that claim.]

[He's doing his best to keep up, but Jean's legs are much longer and he goes much farther much faster than him- ultimately, Weavile decides to hoist him up for a piggy back ride and run after the dumb smug jerk.

-What was that about shop owners? He was too busy having the ride of his life. Weavile is super fast and gives the best piggy back rides, no exceptions.]

[He's busy readjusting his jacket - the wings make it all lumpy, and it's annoying - but he slows down a bit to check behind him. And he'll step aside to allow room for the rapidly approaching giant weasel thing that's carrying the kid.]

Woah--!

[The two of them stop next to Jean! There. All caught up. Silver looks a little disappointed that they're not going at high speed anymore, but at least he still gets a cool ride.]

That's some pet you got there, kid. [Is it gang-trained? For gang activities? With your dad's gang?

He pulls open the door to exit the shop, letting Silver and Weavile skirt through first. Since the handle is above their heads and all. ...Dammit, the stupid harness is already sliding down his legs. Maybe it isn't tight enough...]
