Summary: Chaos! Madness! Unreasonable happenings! You know the drill. Alternatively: characters wake up and sigh because god, not this again.
Rating: Varied. Anything frisky goes to appointments as per usual, chums.

Due to the size and variation of this event, it's probably best to have several logs for it to avoid one getting overcrowded and broken. Feel free to have your characters post their own entries, of course, if you'd prefer- you're more than welcome! This is for people who like to consolidate. Another log ought to be posted around the 16th for round 2.

[O-Oh no...it sounds so sad and scared! ;A;

Filled with a determination and willpower to save the poor, cute kitty, Perona huffs and...begins to try and climb the tree herself. It's a bit hilarious to watch, what with her never having climbed a tree before (or knowing this form could fly just as well - if not better - than she could), and she whines and complains the entire time up.

It...takes a while, and Perona nearly topples out of the tree on several occasions, but she finally manages to get near enough to the small animal, reaching out a hand.]

C-Come on now...I-I'm just as afraid to be up here as you are...ehe. I w-want to get down, too. [IT'S A LOT HARDER WHEN YOU CAN'T JUST WAFT DOWN LIKE A FEATHER EVEN IF YOU FALL.]

[Ion might not have been able to respond to her calls if not for what she just said -- oh no, did this man just put himself in danger just for him? He can't be scared now! He wants to help them to get down faster too!]

[So, gathering all his strength, he stands and carefully walks over towards them, his little body still shaking and shivering.]

[Oh, thank goodness! Heaving a relieved sigh, she reaches out and takes the small creature by the scruff of the neck, tentatively trying to ease herself back down. Ugh...th-this shit is a lot harder than she thought it'd be. She nearly misses her footing on numerous occasion, squeaking with fright.]

Th-There's a good boy... [Or girl. 8|a Perona hasn't had the thought or opportunity to, erm...check or anything. Plus that's just rude.] I'll get you down safely. S-Slowly.

[Wow wow please don't check, this is mortifying enough for him as it is.]

[He basically curls up into a tight ball once she's got a hold of him, trying to stay as still as possible so she doesn't drop him, sob.]

[IT'S NOT LIKE SHE HAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO RIGHT NOW ANYWAY.

Easing herself down with very careful step, Perona makes it a good distance down the tree, her entire body shaking.] It's alright, kitty...w-we're almost down! Just...j-just a little more now...

[And as if on cue, Perona's good fortune ends and she misses a step, plummeting the last ten or so feet from the tree to the ground with an glass-shattering screech.

Thwump.]

[SWEET YULIA THEY'RE FALLING OH GOD]

[...yeah he's just not gonna move for awhile now. There is now one traumatized ball of fluff in Perona's arms.]

[Perona rubs her head after a few seconds, huffing slightly at the whole fiasco. Ugh, this would have never happened if she were still in her own body! She could have just floated down without any effort! At the least she doesn't feel any pain...though the ground has a few cracks where she fell... Seems this body is a lot more resilient than her own...

Ah, but what about her tiny friend?! Opening up her hands, she sees the tiny, shivering ball of fur and smiles, beginning to pet his back gently.]

There, there...you're alright now.

[Ion's head perks up at the petting. Oh... oh, they're on the ground now! That's good. Though he's still shaking a bunch and his eyes are wide and alert as though trying to look in every direction possible at once -- just to make sure they actually are on the ground now.]
