Rating: Varied. Anything frisky goes to appointments as per usual, chums.


Due to the size and variation of this event, it's probably best to have several logs for it to avoid one getting overcrowded and broken. Feel free to have your characters post their own entries, of course, if you'd prefer- you're more than welcome! This is for people who like to consolidate. Another log ought to be posted around the 16th for round 2.

My homeland had been razed by the Fire Nation. They took me and those like me as prisoners and... made life unpleasant for us. I mastered my art to survive. [One shoulder moves slightly.] There is water, even in the desert.

[Her long nose and mouth wrinkle into a snarl as Loki explains his history in that brief summary. She didn't know what a Fire Nation was and the concept of why they would take prisoners was a bit beyond her. Yet she's able to take a guess that it was a group of humans who could use the magic of fire.]

I have heard that the desert is life. [She's never been to a real desert before. She did once travel a great distance that had little water and grew very sick. That was enough for her to believe there was no water in the desert. Of course, most did not need the same large amount of water as she did to survive.] That the desert holds all the water that one may ever need.

[Water in the desert or no. She would always support a fellow creature with a connection to water over any other any day. At least until she was proven otherwise.] I am glad that you died.

[She actually jumps in surprise at that change of words. Understanding that no matter what she said it was going to come out wrong, but that... that had just been odd.]

Water? In the air? [It's hard for her to believe and understand. As air was air to her. Although her body understood what her mind could not. It survived by actually taking the water out of the air. It's what allows her to walk outside of the rivers and lakes she was born in. In fact Loki with his heightened senses may notice this. That the air around her is drier and her veins filled more with water than blood.]
