Summary: Chaos! Madness! Unreasonable happenings! You know the drill. Alternatively: characters wake up and sigh because god, not this again.
Rating: Varied. Anything frisky goes to appointments as per usual, chums.


Due to the size and variation of this event, it's probably best to have several logs for it to avoid one getting overcrowded and broken. Feel free to have your characters post their own entries, of course, if you'd prefer- you're more than welcome! This is for people who like to consolidate. Another log ought to be posted around the 16th for round 2.

[Billy giggles again. He may not know this man or his mother, but he can imagine the results anyway.]

Did she get you good?

[complicatedliar]

She did indeed. My skin turned bright pink for a week.

[babyhands]

Waaaah, really? I'd love to see that!

[He's never seen a person with pink skin before. It sounds pretty funny.]

[complicatedliar]

Oh, would you?

[He pokes Billy in the nose and works a little illusion. ] But you're already bright pink!

[babyhands]

Huh? I'm not-

[He stops, as he scrunches up his nose and goes cross-eyed trying to look at it. Then he gives up on that and gazes down at his hands, and practically shrieks.]

I'm pink!! You made me pink! How did you do that!?

[complicatedliar]

[He grins, then whispers like it's a big secret:] I'm magic.

[babyhands]

[His eyes are so wide and fascinated, now. Loki just said the (literally) magic word for him.]

You're... you're magic? For real?

[complicatedliar]

Of course I am. How else would I turn you pink? [He grins.] Magic is what I do best. Better than tricks.

[babyhands]

I didn't know that! That's so cool!! How did you learn magic? Did you have it as a baby? Could I learn it too!?

[complicatedliar]

[Loki laughs.]

I learned from my mother, and tutors, and taught myself. And yes I did. You might be able to, I don't know.

[babyhands]

I've tried lots of times before, but nothing ever happens. What else can you do?

[complicatedliar]

I can teleport and move things with my mind. Anything, really, if I can construct a spell for it.

But one must always start small.

[babyhands]

[Wooooooow, that is the coolest thing.]

Mom says that, too. What was your first spell?

[complicatedliar]

I made myself invisible. By accident, actually. It frightened everyone around, including myself.

[babyhands]

Whoa... that does sound scary. But really cool, too...

[His eyes widen abruptly, and he hops back a step, hands lifting to clap over his mouth.]

Ah! But don't turn me invisible, too! I don't want to be lost!

[complicatedliar]

[He grins.] Are you sure? Not even a little invisible?

[babyhands]

Not even a little! What if Mom or Dad or Teddy couldn't find me again? And what if I got stuck?

[That's probably the scariest thought.]

[complicatedliar]

You can't get stuck when I'm about. I'm the expert on magic, after all.

[babyhands]

[Billy considers that, looking thoughtfully at his hands.]

....Can you make me not be pink anymore?

[complicatedliar]

Of course. What would you rather be? Blue? [He wiggles his fingers at the boy again, and his skin color shifts over to a fetching shade of light blue.]

Yellow? [Another change...]

[babyhands]

[Billy shrieks quietly, spinning around with a wide-eyed giggle. He's never felt magic before.]

I'm a rainbow! A rainbow!! It tickles!

[complicatedliar]

A rainbow? Yes! That will do nicely! [And there he is, the tiny, ever shifting rainbow of colors.

Oh, if only they both knew how FREAKING APPROPRIATE THAT IS.]

[babyhands]

[Another burst of giggles, staring at his shifting skin with a look of gleeful fascination.]

Wooow... magic is so cool...

[complicatedliar]

Magic is the best thing of all. [Loki smiles.] If you practice hard, you'll be able to do nearly anything with it.

I hope I can learn magic someday... but I don't know anybody who teaches it at home.
