Due to the size and variation of this event, it's probably best to have several logs for it to avoid one getting overcrowded and broken. Feel free to have your characters post their own entries, of course, if you'd prefer- you're more than welcome! This is for people who like to consolidate. Another log ought to be posted around the 16th for round 2.

[Hmm. Sounds familiar, and at the same time, not.]

Not quite. There are seven known elements in my world, not four. Most people can manipulate between one to six of them, to varying degrees of skill, but only a select few born with the gift can utilize the seventh as well. Those who can summon these elements at will are called fonists.

[Zuko stares a bit. That is certainly interesting and weird at the same time.]

Seven elements? What else is there other than fire, earth, water, and air?

[Cause well... those are they only elements he knows.]

Darkness, Light, and Sound. Although we have wind instead of air.

Sound is an element?

[Light and Dark makes some sense but that's still weird.]

How does that work?

It's quite simple in theory, though in practice there are few who can control it, and fewer still who can do so with great skill. Our bodies are made up of fonons, subatomic particles that resonate with one another in different ways to shape and form all matter in the world. Fonons themselves are like waves of sound, so to control seventh fonons is like controlling matter itself. The seventh is the power of song, of worldly manipulation, and of healing.

[It's like he's quoting right out of a textbook. The perks of being raised as a known Seventh Fonist in a royal household- top level education on all things relevant to his life.]
