Summary: Chaos! Madness! Unreasonable happenings! You know the drill. Alternatively: characters wake up and sigh because god, not this again.
Rating: Varied. Anything frisky goes to appointments as per usual, chums.

Due to the size and variation of this event, it's probably best to have several logs for it to avoid one getting overcrowded and broken. Feel free to have your characters post their own entries, of course, if you'd prefer- you're more than welcome! This is for people who like to consolidate. Another log ought to be posted around the 16th for round 2.

[She glances off to the side.]

I-It made sense for a second...I thought. You know, before I said it...!

[She can't help but laugh sheepishly. Maybe if she pretends it's not such a big deal...]

Ahahaha...! W-Well, it's not really important, anyway, huh?

...Yeah, I guess it doesn't.

[Then his smile fades. Something about that reaction just seems off for his friend. Sure, he seems his normal slightly awkward self, but it's a different kind of awkward.]

You sure you're all right? You're actin' funny.

Y-Yeah! I'm like, totally okay! Super okay, you know?

[Is she really acting funny? Well, she supposes she must be in a way. Pilouette doesn't imagine that she's very good at being another person, especially Mac. Plus, aside from being in someone else's body, she's...more or less okay, so it's not a lie, right? Her smile becomes a little strained as she tries to reassure him, making a somewhat dismissive gesture with her hands.]

N...Nothing to worry about, really!

...And that makes it sound like you're definitely not okay.

[He glances around to make sure there's no one nearby before he continues:]

C'mon, pal, whatever's up, you can tell me about it.

[If Mac's in trouble, he wants to know. He may not be able to fix everything, but he can at least try to stab said trouble in the face.]

Wha- h-hey, come on I...Um...

[Pilouette sighs. She never was much good at lying and she figures at this point trying to continue with the act would probably be pretty insulting. She glances off the side for a moment before looking back to Firo, with a somewhat guilty expression.]

Alright...J-Just like, don't freak out, okay?

[Firo nods slowly, glad that Mac's finally opening up.]

You know me, I wouldn't freak out at you. Unless you killed somebody or somethin', but you're not the type.

[He gives a crooked smile with that last remark to show it's a joke--not a very good one, but the sentiment's there all the same.]

[Pilouette certainly appreciates him being so nice about this; at least one of them can joke around and she feels just the tiniest bit more at ease. Hands stuff in the pocket of the hoodie she's wearing, she fidgets for a few moments, glancing around nervously. She tries to think of the right way to say it, but she comes to the conclusion that there's really only one way.

She takes takes deep breath and fixes her gaze on him, nervously.]

I-I'm not, um...actually Mac.

[Firo blinks. That's... nowhere near what he expected to hear.]

You're--?

[The confused tone vanishes in an instant and his voice goes flat. Whoever this person is, they'll pay if they hurt Mac. Firo steps forward.]

What'd you do to him.

[Pilouette stares at him blankly for a second as she processes his question. However, her eyes soon grow wide as she realizes just what he's asking and she throws her hands up defensively and any Mac-like mannerisms she had previously tried to exhibit are dropped like a hot rock.]

W-wait, wait, wait...!! I...I didn't do anything! I just like, woke up like this, you know?! Like, I totally swear!

[He stares at no-longer-Mac for a moment, trying to figure out whether he should believe this.]

Then who are you?

[He takes another step forward.]

And where's he?

Well, he's in my body...wherever that is.

[She shrinks back a bit when he steps closer, nervously angling herself to the side a bit.]

Um, m-my name is Pilouette. Like I said, I just woke up this way! It's probably got something to do with...whatever it is the Malnosso are up to!

[Pilouette? That sounds pretty familiar, for some reason... Firo brushes it off for the moment, though; they have more important things to address.]

...Maybe you're right.

[He sighs and takes a step back.]

You don't know how to find your body?

[It'll probably be okay, but he'd like to check on Mac if he can.]

Well, it's not like I know where he is right now. But, if Mac is in my body, he might have my journal on him...I could probably throw out a message or something to him.

[Still not quite looking at him, she lets out a sigh. She can't help but feel pretty bad about the whole situation. Maybe it would have been better if she had been truthful from the start...]

Um, s-sorry. About like, all this.

[He opens his mouth to tell her that that'd be a great idea, but hesitates when she apologizes.]

...You just said that you woke up this way. If you're tellin' the truth, then you've got nothin' to apologize for.

I, um...I didn't mean to like, lie or anything, though. Since you're one of Mac's friends, I didn't want you to have to worry or whatever. I probably should have just said something from the start though, huh?

[She sighs again, shoulders slumping. Even if Firo says it's okay, she doesn't really feel like it's okay.]

[Firo sighs and half-chuckles.]

Yeah, it sure woulda' saved a lotta time.

[But he realizes he's not being quite fair--he probably would have done exactly the same thing. If he didn't straight up turn around and run first.]

But it's fine. I guess that's the only normal way to deal with somethin' this weird.

[If nothing else, Pilouette is grateful that Firo's so understanding about all this. She smiles, a little sheepishly.]

W-Well, I should probably get going, but, um, if you want, I can let Mac know that you wanna see how he's doing. Oooh, I hope he won't get mad I spilled the beans, though...

Could ya? That'd be great.

[He can't help but hear her last comment and chuckles.]

I don't think he'd get mad at you. He's usually pretty nice.
