Who: Everyone who wants to be here! ...Again!
What: Total Recall 2014, Part 2
When: The second week of the event, roughly April 17th-22nd. As in the last log, the start date is flexible. The end date less so.
Where: All over blah blah blah
Summary: More chaos, more madness, everyone is just so done with this nonsense gosh
Rating: Varied. Anything too high-rated goes to appointments!
Slow but steady, here is the second log for the event. As before, feel free to have your characters post their own entries if you'd rather do that. Here is the first log as well.

To help me? [He sounds so uncertain, so different from the Neji she's known before now.] I... I'd like that. I don't want to be alone. [He pauses, then hesitantly reaches out to touch her shoulder, small fingers curling into soft white fur.] My family... they're... they're not here, are they?
no subject
No, they aren't here. But that doesn't mean you're alone. Or unsafe. Just that you're in a different sort of place.
no subject
Unsafe... [He mumbles the word, a worried look growing in his eyes.] ... Have... Have I been kidnapped? [There's a hint of rising dread in his voice.] How did I get here?
[His fingers tighten in her fur; he might be pulling a little, but he's trying to hold on to some kind of comfort or safety.]
no subject
You have. But it's by magic. [Her long pink tongue flops out and gives him a lick on the cheek.]
But don't worry. I'll keep you safe from anyone that might do anything bad. I may not look like it, but I'm very strong, okay?
[She really wants him to calm down, then she'll attempt to distract him until the shift ends.]
no subject
[He things about that, his eyes wide and tight around the corners with distress, but even at this age keeping control of himself.]
You can? Because... because Father says sometimes, bad people try to kidnap us because they want our eyes...
[His other hand, the one not clutching her fur, raises up to brush around one eye lightly.]
no subject
[Her curly tail wags cheerfully, and she licks his cheek again.]
Nobody is going to steal your eyes, Neji. I promise that. I promise I'll keep you safe, and I'm a god, so you don't have to worry.
[Her nose shifts, pointing over towards the bakery.]
So, since there's nothing to fear, let's go get you a treat. What kind of sweets do you like?
no subject
You're a god? [And now she's getting a wide-eyed look of awe. He's making friends with a god! A cute doggy god, even!]
Um... I like imagawayaki...
no subject
[She nudges open the bakery door with her snout and pads inside, happily wagging her tail.]
Well, I'm sure we can find some of that in here. And other things too.
no subject
[He flusters a little, embarrassed at being called cute, but follows her in.]
I don't have any money, though...
no subject
[Technically true. She had made a deal with the Malnosso for the castle shift, so she's not lying there. And it's easier than explaining the lack of money.]
Get whatever you'd like.
no subject
[Now that is a truly awed face. Offering a child whatever he wants? He must be in heaven, and now he has no doubt at all that she's someone very powerful indeed.]
Anything I'd like? Really?
no subject
[She won't let him overeat. Even if she does pig out when she's a child.]
no subject
Wow... [He's very well-behaved, though; he browses around all the possibilities, and picks out one small sweet for himself, a little bun filled with a berry jam.] Is this okay?
no subject
[She wanders over to a basket and pulls out a sausage bun of her own, gobbling it up. Oh...it's good Neji didn't remember her, or the image of the polite, upstanding goddess would be spoiled forever.]
no subject
Oh - thank you. [He does take a second, far be it from him to refuse when the prospect is dangled in front of him.]
no subject
[Nom-nom, it's a good sausage and it's all gone.]
So, now that you have a treat, is there anything you'd like to do? A game you like? Or something you like to see?
no subject
[Neji chews on his piece of bun and then tilts his head, thinking.] What... what is there to see? I don't know what this place is.
no subject
We could go to the playground. Or the forest. Or the sea.
no subject
To the sea? I've never been there before... [Neji looks eager to see it, although he doesn't get too loud or excited. It's not the Hyuuga way, after all.] I'm from the forest.
no subject
no subject
I can do that! [Giving a child the chance to help, and to do things for himself? That's always a winner.]
no subject
Then follow! See if you can keep up!
[She'll start off towards the barracks at a slow doggy trot, not wanting to lose him, and not sure how fast a ninja child can run.]
no subject
[Neji trots along at a good pace; he's not the powerful specialist he'll grow into, able to run tirelessly for hours, but he's strong for his age, already starting the very basics of honing his body.]
How does pushing a button take us to the sea?
no subject
[Their easy almost loping pace will gave them at the Barracks shortly. It's hardly a long run, and Luceti's village isn't exactly difficult to navigate.]
no subject
[It earns her a wide-eyed stare of fascination.]
Does it fly us to the sea like a bird?
