Who: Red, Red's pokémon, and everyone that got invited which is anybody Red knows. ANYBODY.. also dude if you just wanna wander on in because food and people and a soothing flower smell go right ahead. Also it's Helios (folklorist) and Saori's (windandrain) castle place.
What: CAKE. please mingle. i guess. or talk about cake.
When: April 24th (divine backdating)
Where: House #44 which is actually a 4 story tower. Cool beans.
Summary: Helios said about hey why not invite people to celebrate Venusaur's evolution with cake. And so Red did. All he did was invite people.
Rating: C for cake (unlikely to be anything beyond U??)

[ Red hadn't exactly meant to invite all the people he did to House #44 for cake like he did. Actually, he wasn't going to invite anyone at all for it when Helios first suggested doing so. But there was talking here and there on the journal, and so he thought - why not. It's cake!

Except going on to invite people and also trainers which came with their own pokémon, well. That was a lot of mouths. Thankfully, Red had waited until giving them the address of where to end up, allowing him and Helios more time to prepare. Red helped Helios with the cakes where he could, and also brought in goodies from the store to help out as well.

So not only will there be delicious desserts, there will be seasonal fruits! Like apples! All mixed up on a bowl with the apples sliced up into their own separate one because really, who doesn't end up with a bunch of apples.

Also there are sandwiches. Sandwiches such as TUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNAAAA* sandwiches, and other lesser varieties. Really, just imagine sandwiches. Does this help? How about this. The sandwiches are simply made, though the tuna selection is the biggest. (TUNNNNNNNAAAAAAA)

As for the actual cakes, did you know Helios is a cake dispenser? Look at this selection of CAKES. Helios is the end boss of Luceti and his weapon is cake. Also cake.

While there was plenty of room on the inside for all of this and the people (and maybe the inside was open as well to people as well), everything was, for the most part, presented outside with the pokémon in mind. Red had big pokémon, and Red also knew that some of the other trainers also had big pokémon. And Venusaur loved sunlight, so why keep her out of it for what was put together for her?

The sandwiches are just... sandwiches (as in, Red put them together), and the fruit is just fruit, but the cake themselves are made by a food lover. Is this the first time you're getting to try cheesecake and pavlova? Don't worry- even if you don't like it, there's always a Snorlax close by...

For those coming onto the scene, a sweet scent will be in the air, soothing to any that smell/breathe it in and lowering their evasion. Have a swell time. ]

( Red would have sent out a message to everyone he said he would and then some more. He will also happily meet with anyone that arrives. Also, try the cake. Each of it. Please give your character's deep deep thoughts about cake here and how it reflects on them as a character.

Snorlax will also be moving around, for the most part having Red's eye on him, and also for the most part somewhat being behaved... but also. Food. Your character may feel a pair of eyes upon them when they eat... always.... )

HELLO I AM HERE FOR CAKE

[Eley had received the invitation to some surprise. He certainly recalled the pleasant exchange between the boy and his monsters but hadn't expected to be called upon for... well, cake.

For anyone who had witnessed the Spirit around anything of the sort, it was no secret that Eley enjoyed sweet things, thanks in no part to his friend Tsuzuki, even if he was no longer in Luceti. So naturally he wouldn't pass up the opportunity to try new food and perhaps gain some tips on baking himself, still being an amateur.

Helios was also a dear friend of his, so the location helped Eley to feel at ease. Something else also drew him to its source though - a pleasant fragrance. While he had recalled the strange band of creatures that had followed Red beside his tree, he couldn't help but stop in alarm as he noticed the one with the flower had... grown. Changed. Was this what evolution meant?]

Then is this something of a 'birthday party' for you, I wonder?

[ Venusaur rests with her legs tucked underneath her, enjoying the weather, and keeping her eyes closed until visitors come over. She's never been fussed to this amount before - or did it just seem so grand because of all the effort that went into it? Whether it was for her or for the food people were there, it felt more natural and put her at ease when Red was with her than left to be admired, and Red didn't stray too far from her or Snorlax if he could help it. Not for long, at least.

Eley's comment isn't the first Red has heard that either. He laughs a little, sitting cross-legged beside his pokémon - but with Saur's size and presence, was Red noticeable at all? Who cares for chairs, after all. ]

Kinda! Saur's never had anything like this before!

[ He moves forward on his knees, to see himself Eley more clearly. ]

What do you think? She's way different, right? [ He lifts a hand up to pay Saur behind her ear. ] 'f course, she's still the same Saur.

[With all the excitement of munching on heavenly food, Karis isn't exactly paying attention to where she's going while happily munching on her slice of cake. At least she's not running when she bumps into Eley.] Ah, s-sorry!

WHAT IS CAKE?!

[Those that are in front of the house might feel a wind kick up as a very large guest appears. Lugia descends from the sky and alights himself on the ground before the rather large... house? castle? tower? ... something.

Red had invited him and Lugia said he would come. So here he is. Just like he promised.

Though now he has no idea what to do with himself, so he looks around. Maybe someone can direct him where to go and what to do? Going to parties isn't exactly a normal part of a legendary Pokemon's itinerary.]

[ Ash catches sight of Lugia as he lands on the ground.

Is that really who he think it is?

Pikachu and Ash look at each other and smile before running over to Lugia with Charizard and Snivy following. ]

[ #House 108 is a ship or so I hear Don't worry bro, when Red invited you he was sure to keep an eye out for you! Sure, maybe inviting a legendary pokémon to eat cake was... odd, but sometimes you've got to ask yourself: Why not?

Red approaches him, rather happily at seeing that Lugia came. ]

Hey! Are you okay? You don't feel cramped do you?

[BY THE ARCHMAGES, would you look at that! Karis can't help but gape in awe from Lugia's presence, enough to where she's got a bit of a sandwich piece left hanging in her mouth...

Don't mind her Lugia, she's going to just sit and stare for a moment.]

[ Oh goodness that was a rather strong gale of wind just now. Helios used his arm to cover his eyes to make sure no dust got in them, but the two dragons at his feet will merrily rush over to the newcomer without a second's thought. Helios himself will finally catch up and scoop Luminair into his arms as the fat little dragon chirps and sniffs curiously at Lugia's feet.

Helios will crane his head upward to get a good look at the being before him. ] Oh. My. You're a friend of Red's I take it?

OH..... SEA GOD.....

[A Lugia............

Well, admittedly, it'd been hard to miss it. It's a giant god of the sea, it'd be nuts not to see him. It's her first time approaching the legendary pokémon though; her meganium's following right behind her, carrying a plate full of fruit.

Though, now that she's slightly gaping at Lugia, she's not really sure what to do. Talking seems like a weird option to go for, and she's not just gonna capture it - she hasn't even found her pokéballs yet.]

[Holy shi-- Ginia stares agape at Lugia, trying to comprehend what she's seeing. At her side, Laika whines, her nose nudging Ginia's hand.]

[ Red can be found mostly beside the evolved pokémon the whole shebang was for (even though Red just advertised it as free cake). He wasn't really a party guy despite his extroverted personality, getting rather nervous and feeling out of place when surrounded by a group of people. Even though all those he had invited were people he knew, the fact this had become what it was didn't wipe away that feeling in his body any less.

But he still keeps a bright smile - people were here to enjoy themselves, and even if just enjoying themselves meant eating cake then that was what they were going to get. Approaching on over to Red wit his pokémon is very much an option! Usually, Snorlax has got some kind of food with him. But Red's prepared for him to have baguettes with a jam on them to keep him satisfied, so he hopefully shouldn't get in too much trouble. And sitting so close to Venusaur with her soothing effects, the usually grumpy looking pokémon actually looks very... chill. Even goofy-like. Mmmmm...

To those who come, when Red sees them, he's sure to either go over to them or even to wave them down from where he sits outside with Venusaur, Snorlax and Pikachu beside them as well. Feel free to have Red spot your character out. ] Hey!!

[ Or your character can spot him elsewhere- he does go now and then to pick at the foods himself, either for himself or his pokémon.

Wow, such options, many choices!! ]

[True fact; being thirty-seven years old does not mean you squee any less when cute animals are involved. In fact, as much as Ginia loves cake, it's the chance to see pokemon that brings her out. She brings company too as Laika tags along. She's an obedient dog, but Laika keeps her on a leash just be on the safe side.

Arriving at the castle-house (impressive), it's not hard spotting Red... or Snorlax, or Venusaur. Wow. She'll stare a bit before coming over to say hi.]

[Karis's head turns when Red greets her, and she happily waves back at him, though she's got a bit of food in her mouth at the moment...] Mmm mmrph! [Wait, give her a moment to swallow her food as she walks over.] Hi there!

CAKE FOR THE CAKE GOD

Helios is just gonna be flitting around here or there making sure everything is well stocked and in order. He kinda went a little overboard with the cookies, sandwiches and cakes, whoops. But Red had said a good few people where coming so he had to prepare.

He'll be mulling around talking to people as he nibbles on a sandwich or two. The two dragons by his side will bound over to people to greet them in a flurry of dragon chirps and tail wags. They love meeting new people so don't be shy in introducing yourself or your pokemon. Helios will make sure everyone is having a good time so he'll be stopping by to chat it up with most of the people here.

Hey hey hey, guess who wants to come over and see little dragons? This guy, this guy. And with helping around with things as well (and ensuring that he had enough food personally for Snorlax so he didn't snack on everything in sight), Red didn't get to pay enough attention to the creatures as he would've liked to.

But now is the time to do that! And Red's picked out a few cookies from off the table, walking over to Helios with them in his hand, looking from the nearby dragons to the man.

"Can they eat them?"

[Well Karis wasn't expecting a pair of dragons to greet her while munching on some cake! But it certainly was exciting!] Well hello there! [At least this time one of them wasn't knocking her off her feet, thankfully.

It doesn't take too long to spot the cake master, and she waves to him with a free hand.] Hey Helios!~

Some people just can't wait for Helios to come around -- or pokémon. Megaree, Crystal's megnaium whose enthusiasm can only be measured in megawatts, is one such pokémon. Especially with interesting new creatures to meet. The dragons don't really look like anything he's ever seen! Hope they don't mind getting touched by vines - this grass-type's curiosity has gotten the better of him.

At least Crystal's not far behind, her eyebrows drawn up. Enthusiasm is great, but it's not an excuse to go bouncing off to bother people! Megaree whines a little at her when she tugs one of his vines away from Helios' dragons.

"Don't be rude, Megaree-- I hope he wasn't bothering you."

Cake Time

[Well this is quite the merry little gathering, isn't it? Saori hadn't really expected so many people when she came downstairs from her nap for some of the promised cake. Right behind her comes Keiko, her little shiba-pug mix, and the stately old maid looks upon those assembled with an air of dignity befitting a much larger dog.

With a look to her companion, Saori makes her way into the kitchen and gets some sweets before heading outside and taking a seat on a deck chair to watch the party. Her plate is remarkably light compared to most here though, loaded up with fruit and thin slices of each kind of cake rather than huge hulking chunks. And of course some sandwiches, beef for Keiko and tuna for herself. Why limit oneself to sweets, after all? Even if the cake is absolutely delightful!

So, Saori will probably be looking around at all the pokemon, or possibly at your character with some curiosity. After all, she doesn't know many people here, but if they're friends of Red or Helios then they must be alright...]

Saori! [Here, have a very enthusiastic Karis approaching and waving with one hand while the other was carrying a load of tuna sandwiches.] Is this a great party, or what?

[While used to parties, Ginia's always glad to see another familiar face. She heads over to Saori to say hello, Laika padding along at her side.

[The moment Karis got the invitation, she bolted out the door, threw up a haste spell, and high tailed it to house #44.

The moment upon arriving, she goes straight for the cake and tuna sandwiches, making sure she's got a good pile of them before finding a spot to plop down and devour the goodies. She skipped a meal for this, because oh god her sweet tooth is going to take over.]

[ Oh hey it was that person that he spoke to on the journal a bit ago let's go say hi!

With a plate with maybe three piece of cake on it and several sandwiches and his Pokemon following too. ]

[There's nothing more exciting than Pokémon evolution for trainers, and Red's enthusiasm (and offer for free cheesecake) really hit her sweet spot. So to speak. Crystal's only accompanied by her Meganium, since her other two aren't all that fond of desserts - but Megaree'll eat anything with flavor.

She's not quite expecting the amazing spread - what happened to just one cheesecake, what's with all these other great looking cakes - but hey, she's not gonna look a gift Ponyta in the mouth. Her plate's mostly fruits, with a small slice of cheesecake to go with it, and sitting outside's pretty much her best option. Especially since Megaree, as a grass-type, really loves sitting out in the sun... even if he is taking fruit from Crystal or anyone who offers it up to him.

Like Venasaur, he's also got this really nice, mellow scent going on... Kind of makes it feel like you need to make some friendly conversation, doesn't it?]

[ There was plenty of room on the inside for the party for the big or tall, but it was with Venusaur in mind that everything was placed outside, to allow the grass-type as much sun as she would like. After all, it was her favourite food of them all.

When Red finally spots Crystal and her pokémon, it's with the help of Venusaur who, upon taking a walk around with her trainer, locates the sight of the meganium's long neck and green amongst the more subdue colours of the people. Journal images can never compare to the real thing, can they? And the sight of it gets Red excited, and so he makes his way with his grass pokémon company to Crystal and her own, coming from around the back to do so. ]

Hi! Crystal, right? [ Had they shared names? But with their conversation taking place over the journal, it wasn't hard to see it. Red waits as well until he's somewhat around from the other side of them and making his way to face them properly before speaking up. No need to give them a fright with voices from behind! ]

ALL THE CAKE

[ SO ASH IS THERE pigging out like he usually does he might have been a Snorlax in his past life you never know. But he's there with Pikachu, Snivy, and Charizard stuffing his face with cake and sandwiches. Pikachu is eating alongside him as well as Charizard. Snivy is eating too much much more gracefully than the other's she's with.

Clearly, Snivy is the most mature of the group.

After he's finishes the food he has with him he'll go back for more. And then for more. And then for more. It'll be a while until he's stuffed after all.

So really, feel free to catch him heading (back) to the table for more food, eating with his Pokemon, or when he's finally done (or taking a break from eating) just relaxing with his Pokemon/playing with Pikachu (because Charizard and Snivy are too cool for that). ]

[ Sure, Snorlax had a nice food pile himself.

Sure, that's all gone now.

Sure, Red told him to see him when he ran out.

But doesn't a black haired kid wearing a hat look like any black haired kid wearing a hat from the back??? And so now Ash, Snorlax is standing beside you at the food table, looking down at you while making noises that sound like a mix between "oh food oh food" and "oh please let me have more sir", with a pinch of "aren't i a good snorlax".

Also, he's drooling.

[So, Cilan was invited along as well--he did say that he would be interested in trying the cake that Red told him about, after all. Of course, this is probably going to involve some odd commentary from him when asked, but otherwise he seems content trying a little of everything (where does it all go?) that's offered on the menu.

He's also accompanied by his own Pokemon as well: Pansage, who is often clinging to Cilan's shoulder, even with Cilan attempting to juggle different plates of food, and Crustle and Stunfisk, who will usually follow along at a their own pace behind him. Crustle is very friendly, though Stunfisk is...not much of a conversationalist and you'll mostly just get some odd staring from it if you try to interact with it from where it's sitting on top of Crustle's shell. But by all means, please feel free to get to know them, Cilan has raised his Pokemon to be pretty well-behaved.]

[ As long as it doesn't all end up in Snorlax, that's all that matters.

Red is more than happy to see the flavour-talking trainer has come along, an obvious friend of Ash's from their conversation. Sure, the way he talks is a little odd, but being a trainer with unseen pokémon and having the chance as well to share with the other his own Kanto pokémon, there was absolutely nothing to grumble at the sight of Cilan!

And less so, when his Unova pokémon are out by his side. Red approaches him alone, his pokémon all sitting together on the grass in the direction which Red comes from (Snorlax, from the sounds of it, snoozing away), an empty plate showing why he was there. Of course, welcoming another person that's arrived is another good reason! ]

Hey! Don't wanna miss out on a bite, huh? [ Red looks from the trainer and then to Crustle and Stunfisk. ] Are they for them too? Want a hand?

[ He's already putting down his own plate in case Cilan does want help! ]

[Gold didn't hesitate for a second upon being invited to cake. Who in their right mind would? Sure, he didn't know the people whose house he was going to, but honestly he didn't care. There was cake involved and that's all that mattered to him right now.

When he gets there, what he sees is not what he expected to get here. Cake, cake, and more cake. Cake EVERYWHERE. And sure there's other food at least until it's all eaten but caaaaaaaaaaake. He's brought along just Aitaro, who's a huge fan of sweets. And now he's eying up the spread.]
