Zompania Draft: Coming Home
Who: Anyone drafted to Zompania, or recruited as reinforcements, or left behind in the village. SO. Everybody!
What: The draftees and reinforcements return to the village.
When: May 26, early early in the morning
Where: Back in Luceti
Summary: Most draftees and reinforcements return to Luceti in the very early hours; now, instead of a medevac site for the draft, the village is a welcome (?) refuge from the nightmare of Zompania for its own. There's a high likelihood it still looks a lot like it has in the past few days; those in the fight didn't even get a chance to shower before returning.
(This is the place for all your post-draft trauma and reunions and every other thing. Have fun! And don't forget to entry-tag your character.)

The Vulcan gapes as he sees Jim's condition.]
Jim...
[In the end, all it mattered was that he was alive.]
no subject
Hey honey, I'm home.
[ He gave the other a tired smile, raising his hand weakly in greeting. Not that the hand was hurt, just he was so tired. Everything seemed to be taking a million years, every single step. Could he collapse now and sleep for a decade? ]
no subject
Carefully, Spock placed his hands on Jim's shoulders...]
Ashayam... It... it pleases me to see you alive. [Understatement of the century.]
no subject
[ It was nothing rest, a bath, and a good meal couldn't solve. Give or take a few days.
He didn't say anything to Spock's inspection though, and quietly leaned in against him when he had finished. He snorted at that last comment, though. ]
Spock, just say you're glad to have me home.
no subject
[Spock presses a gentle kiss to Jim's forehead, worried of hurting him wherever he might be bruised. The Vulcan guides Jim home...] Allow me to see to your injuries.
no subject
Can you do it while I sleep?
[ He knew he should be happier about being home, and he was, but it was just he was so tired. He wanted to lean against Spock and just let himself pass out. Bones would probably throw a hissy-fit if he knew. But he was gone, wasn't he? Welp, there he went, making himself more depressed. ]
I'll be okay. I just need a shower, sleep, and food. Probably in that order.
no subject
Negative, you will need sustenance before you go to sleep, or you may cause yourself further injury. You are dehydrated...
[Spock turns on the showerhead and starts to undress his Captain.]
no subject
[ He lets him, nothing about the actions in the least sexual right now. And for Kirk, who was very versed in that realm and usually up for such play, that he did not respond spoke of his weariness. He was glad to be out of them, dirt and blood and mud worked into the seams of the fabric, making him feel dirtier. Their removal made him feel a bit better, actually. ]
Stop it, you're not Bones. Don't talk like Bones.
[ Though what he wouldn't give for him either.
He turned and stepped into the shower, nearly moaning as the hot water hit him, beginning to wash away the physical evidence of that horrible, horrible week. ]
no subject
His mate was a mess, and Spock's throat felt tight at the sight. Certainly, he's seen Jim injured many times before this, but it didn't mean that he had to like it.]
I believe there is a phrase that adequately describes the possibility of that never happening. 'Hell will freeze over first.'
no subject
What, that you become like Bones? Of course it won't happen, he can tell jokes.
[ He might be being a tad uncharitable right now, but he was tired, hungry, and only slowly starting to ache less and he wanted nothing more to curl and sleep and dream this all away. But he couldn't, because he was standing in a shower and being washed and doing his best not to look down at the muck running down the drain at his feet. ]
no subject
Can you manage one glass of water for me, Ashaya?
no subject
[ He sighed, tired of fighting, even these little battles, and he nodded.
He crawled onto the sheets and nearly wept for the softness of the bed, for the familiar smell of it. That seemed an odd thing, but after a week of smelling blood and mud and who knew what else, it was heaven. ]
no subject
Above all, Spock wanted to be able to help. They were so medically limited here, but... he did have one thing.
Holding his hand to Jim's heart, he called on the spirit he had been learning from, and sent out warmth to his mate's body.]
no subject
[ The heat spread through him and he sighed, relaxing, wondering what it was Spock was doing. But he trusted him enough not to question it, not yet, and he let himself settle. He sniffed and worked further into the sheets, using them as a shield from his aches, closing his eyes...
He gasped and jerked, opening his eyes again, heart pounding and breaking out in a cold sweat.
God, was that thing.. was it...? ]
no subject
The Vulcan placed a hand on Jim's arm.]
It was a dream, Ashaya, you are safe.
no subject
[ He gulped and nodded his head, running a hand through his hair and realizing he was covered in a cold sweat. But who wouldn't be after that? He groaned and lay back down in the sheets. ]
Sorry Spock. Go back to sleep, I'm fine.
no subject
It is obvious that you are not 'fine', and I would not be doing my duty as your mate if I ignored you. What did you dream of?
no subject
Nothing, just... something that happened in the draft. It'll go away, really.
no subject
[Spock wasn't about to let this go.]
no subject
Can we not talk about it tonight, please? I would like to try and get sleep. I'm tired.
[ Defeated. Hurt. He wanted to sleep forever. He lay back down and worked into the pillows, shivering. ]
no subject
Spock would sit with Jim all night, waiting until his mate woke the next morning. They would talk.]
no subject
[ He would talk to Spock about that last night. he might be his boyfriend, but he was not okay with mind voodoo being worked on him without his permission. Even something meant to help him.
But for now, yes, sleeping. Deep and dark and far away from the thing that lurked at the edge, ready to gobble him up... ]
no subject
Spock is waiting... and guess what? He also has breakfast waiting for you. Bacon and everything.]
no subject
[ It is more the smell of bacon than anything that summons him from his slumber. He peaks his eyes open and instantly spies that delicious treat, and is both suspicious and delighted at the same time. ]
Should I be worried you're feeding me bacon - on purpose?
[ He yawned and slowly sat up, rubbing at his face. ]
no subject
[Spock hands over the tray, the plate loaded with eggs, toast, bacon and fruit.]
