[Hiccup is not alone in his gravity-related struggles. Riku already had one awkward encounter with Ion that led to him being swept by the breeze.

Now? Now he's trying to walk by, except the sudden gravity flux causes him to fly up, bonk his head on a tree branch, and topple to the ground.

Grumbling, he casts a glance to Hiccup, grabbing his still floating Komory Bat by one of its feet and gently tugging it down.]

Hey, you need a hand?

[He'll at least try to walk over in hopes that he doesn't get plucked away. Getting hit by a book is never fun.

Riku knows; he had to fight Zexion.]

[when Riku checks on him, Hiccup is still laying on his back with a book splayed open on his face and several drawings and plans scattered on top of him.]

Mmmph.

[He's having a great week, can you tell? Anyway, the gravity flux seems to have dissipated for the moment. Maybe moved on to bother someone else. He sits up, dropping the book into his lap, looking about as thrilled as one might imagine. He's not too down for some awful humor, though.]

I'm thinking I need a foot, but thanks anyway. [He bends his knee and gets up, dusting himself off.]

[If there are any papers scattered on the ground, he'll go ahead and help scoop them up. If not, he'll just settle for a small, apologetic smile.]

I know the feeling. Almost got launched into space earlier.

[A bit of an exaggeration, but that's sure what it felt like.]

Seen some other weird stuff going on, too. Random wildfires, stampedes...

[It's definitely been interesting as of late. Maybe a little too interesting.]
