Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

Days 2-5 and 10

[Day 2-5]

[On the second day of oddities, people in House 48 will find there is some odd creature wandering around the house in a slight...frenzy. And it'll likely keep falling onto itself, because what are legs on a snake?

After that fiasco, Kazuma tries his best to stay inside until he was back to normal, but the the Malnosso thought it be funny to teleport him around the village the way he is. So people can find this little snake scurrying about to get back home around various parts of the village until day 5.]

[Day 10]

[After returning to normal five days before, Kazuma thought he was safe from any further trouble. Nothing's exactly happen to him since, and he figured he could go hide out in the library today. Soon as he arrives though...his luck turns for the worse. A weird snake creature is one thing, but a cat!? And this particular cat seem...familiar, in not a good way.]

Day 2

[Thirteen doesn't look like his normal self, though at least he wasn't so changed as poor Kazuma. Clad in a black duster with matching leather armor, Thirteen emerges into the room with a long rifle... that looks almost magical in nature, slung on his back. His overall appearance looks more rugged, someone who'd been on the road for awhile.

...Or a character from some kind of RPG, but who's counting that?

It's not hard to spot the tiny little green snake thing flitting around in confusion, so he'll walk over and kneel down next to it the next time it trips.]

...Haven't seen anything like this before. You're no monster. How'd you get into the house?

[Kazuma sits up, turning to the familiar voice and --holy crap you are TALL. He has a minor flip out, sliding back a little, because tall. As someone who was normally used to looking down on people, this was a real drastic change of perspective for him.]

I-I...[Words. They still work for him, right?] M-Mister David...?

[Thirteen blinks, confused. How did this thing know his name, he'd never seen it before. Much less, how'd he know his actual name? Most knew him by his mercenary name...]

...If I knew I hadn't had anything to drink last night, I'd wonder if I was hearing things.

You know me, so who... and what are you?

[His temperament, while normally fair and calm, seems to be more on edge. Still, he doesn't see any point in doing anything other than asking questions.]

[Oh no. Did the Malnosso not just mess with his appearance but his memories too? At least he could still communicate]

I...I-I don't know, but it's me, Kazuma, sir! I just woke up like this...!

[yellowthirteen]

Kazuma?

[He pauses, almost like he's seen a ghost.]

...Impossible. The only Kazuma I knew was back home... before...

[But that voice, the attitude... the same. The very same he remembered it as. Either this was a very elaborate hoax, or more likely, something beyond his ken has happened.]

Never mind. You woke up in that snake body? [...damn his past sometimes. He can feel himself getting soft for an old friend.] You need a hand there? I guess I could carry you if you needed to get somewhere.

[Kazuma tilts his head. Back home...?]

Oh, I... [He was flipping out this whole time, he wasn't sure where he wanted to go. Uh] Could...could you help me to the kitchen for now?

Day 2!

[Towards the end of the day, Litchi is finally coming home, meaning to start putting together something for dinner... only there is a leafsnake in her living room.

Forgive her as she stops and stares blankly, Kazuma.]

[moezama]

[Oh god, what's going on!? What do I do!? What if the oth- Wait, there's someone here now. Oh crap. Kinda just looking nervously up at Litchi now :|;;;;]

A-Ah....

[Not that she has any idea where this little one came from, but it's adorable and so she's okay with that.]

Where in the world did you come from...?

I... [P-People are really tall like this.]

I-I live here, Miss Litchi. I was Kazuma. Well I'm still Kazuma, but--[Oh he's all kinds of flustered right now]

Kazuma? [Give her a second. She stares for a moment, smiles, and then kneels down so that she's more on level with him.

Nevermind that she's laughing a bit.]

I take it this is the Malnosso's handiwork.

I...I would assume so. [He goes a little red out of embarrassment.]

I woke up this morning like this...

day 4! or something

[Leafsnake! Tao didn't expect to see one while wandering around. Another demon? Kazuma certainly doesn't look like any other she'd seen. Too...small? Un-intimidating? Green? Whatever he is, she's curious, and pouncing in his direction after he teleports...somewhere.

...And she has no idea that she's been missing from House 48 for a few days. Oops.]

[Good ol' Tao. He's found himself teleporting on some random patch of grass as he tries to figure out where he actually was. Ok there's the river than...where are those soft footsteps coming from...?]

[catus_carnival]

[The footsteps are soft no longer as she pounces, landing right behind him.]

[moezama]

[And there is a scream suddenly from little green snake as it scurries, ducks and hides in the tall grass.]

W-What- [He pops his head up, looking behind him.] T-Tao!?

That's meow!

[Eying him carefully. Nope, not any demon she knows about.]

Day 10

[Someone else who got stuck in an awkward form decided to try and take haven in the library, and this particular one is going to recognize who Kazuma was supposed to be from a mile away. It's just how Ragna operates. But damn if this body didn't have good eyesight to boot.]

Huh? Master? [He can read with only one eye?]

[It is extremely difficult reading with one eye as Kazuma discovers.

He doesn't...actually look up unfortunately when "Rachel" calls out to him, not realizing Master was referring to the form he was in.]

[Ragna doesn't even consider that Jubei might not recognize any of these words coming out of Rachel's mouth, but he should at least recognize her voice. Those two are so chummy, after all.]

Hey! Are you ignoring me? [He carefully approaches because what are these shoes.]

What? [Oh god what is that voice? It's...old and gruffy sounding. O-Oh wait, this woman he's only spoken to once or twice was addressing him wasn't she?]

Ah, Sorry...I didn't realize you were talking to me. [When did she EVER want anything to do with him in the first place?]

Who else around here am I gonna call Master out of nowhere? [--Oh, wait. He keeps forgetting that he's Rachel. That probably sounded really weird, but then again... Jubei sounds really weird himself.] Er... it's me, Ragna. Don't ask.

Day 5

[Hello Kazuma.

It appears someone... Or something... Is tracking you.]

... [Kazuma's new Pokemon senses are certainly tingling. Something's amiss, but he doesn't know what. He continues to run through the tall grass, though with added paranoia in his steps and trips over himself again. O-ow...]
