Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

Day 6!

[Okay, today has been weird so far. Waking up bodyswapped with Leonhardt a few days ago was bad enough, but suddenly finding himself looking like his sister is probably even more strange for him. Not to mention Leonhardt being stuck as Renne somehow... who's not even in the village, as far as he knows. And right when it looked like things were back to normal for them, soon.

Following a brief training session at the battle dome to see if his abilities were at all affected by the experiment, Joshua - or rather, Joshua-turned-Estelle clad in a currently slightly too big, long-sleeved version of his draft outfit - is out and about in the forest, scouting the area like he so often tends to.

...Or at least, that's what he was doing until a certain little yellow dragon flying around catches his attention.

Huh. He hasn't seen one of those around before. Another person affected by the experiment, maybe...?

Hopefully Dragon-Lin doesn't mind being stared at by a twin-tailed brunette too much. Seeing an actual, live dragon - if one that's most likely just a resident transformed by the experiment, if the past few days are any indication - for once is pretty fascinating, to say the least.]

[After nearly being fried by a stray fireball, Pao-Lin's started paying a little more attention to her environment while flying around. It's easier now that she's got the hang of being a dragon. So she soon notices Joshua-turned-Estelle staring at her.

Curious and cautious, Pao-Lin merely stops in mid-flight and hovers a little, staring back. Unsure of what he wants, she just gives a cute little wave with her claw.]

[That wave is met with a small, slightly hesitant wave in return. It looks like whoever this dragon is isn't hostile, at least... That's a good sign, all things considered.]

Hey. I hope I'm not bothering you. [For someone who currently looks much like a tomboyish girl, those words are said in a surprisingly soft, calm tone - one Pao-Lin might just recognize, even if Joshua's actual voice is different from usual.

...A dragon. An actual, live dragon. If that's another result of this ongoing experiment as he suspects, that's a pretty amazing thing to get turned into, all things considered.]

[Pao-Lin's not the best with voices, but fortunately her own didn't change when she got morphed into this form.]

Oh, no, it's fine! Did you need something?

[That voice is... definitely familiar. Huh.]

No, I was just passing by. [Except, well, it's sort of distracting to see a dragon flying around, even if it's a small one. Considering that outside of simulations in the battle dome, he's literally never seen one before, that was more than enough to make him stop and stare for a bit.

...You're Pao-Lin, right? [Unless the experiment somehow altered someone's voice too, it seems that way, anyway. With how weird this experiment has been, though, it probably can't hurt to ask just to be absolutely sure.]

[At this, she tilts her head curiously.]

Yeah...I am. How'd you know?

It's your voice. It's still the same. [He probably wouldn't have guessed it otherwise. Appearance-wise, outside of maybe the dragon's colors, there's really no way to tell it's her.]

...I guess you're a bit luckier than me. [Absent-mindedly, he fidgets with his scarf. While he's still a bit hesitant to outright say who he is simply because that honestly feels weird, his outfit might be a clue to his identity, should Pao-Lin recognize it. Although it's one he normally wears on drafts and missions, he has worn it a few times in the village for his training sessions as well, so she might've seen it in passing at the battle dome even if she didn't see it during the last draft - or if she simply doesn't recall it from back then.]

[Yeah, the outfit is pinging something in Pao-Lin's mind. When it dawns on her, she blinks in surprise.]
